Eleanor will be auctioned.....in December

Have you ever watched the movie "Gone in 60 Seconds," starring Nicolas Cage? If so, surely familiar with the 1967 Ford Mustang named Eleanor (one of my dream cars). In the film, Nicolas Cage role as Mephis Raines, collided acting with beautiful actress Angelina Jolie. And in the film, he tried to stole the 'beauty' 1967 Ford Mustang.

The plan, this Mustang 67 will be auctioned on December 12 to 13 2014 in the Austin Mecum event, so now is the film fans opportunity to have the retro muscle cars.

Cinema Vehicle Services and Chip Foose (a tuner specialist) is the brains behind the making of this Mustang 67. There are seven units that are provided for the film shooting purposes and to be auctioned is one of seven such units.

Eleanor uses a Ford 351 CI engine with a Holley 700 CFM 4-barrel carburetor and high-volume fuel pump. The engine unit was combined with four-speed manual transmission. Some changes are given in this Mustang 67, such as the use of fenders, side skirts and scoop. The fiberglass materials also uses on the front and PIA lights. Its hood and trunk are also updated.

While the interior design is not too much change. The only modification is done by adding the NOS button, 'Go-Baby-Go' lever on the gear, fire extinguishers and Autometer Sport Comp Monster tachometers.

"Elanor became one of the most recognizable muscle car from the movie. When deciding to make it, we also decided to auction it off," said Ray Claridge, the owner of Cinema Vehicle Services, as reported by Worldcarfans on Friday, October 24th, 2014.
