Honda's newest car for the Super GT Racing

Honda Motor Co. Ltd., Officially introduced the latest Honda NSX Concept-GT car in Japan. This car will be used to participate in the Super GT Series. So the latest generation of NSX car will fill the GT500 class at the competition. In the Super GT Round 5 of 2013 Autobacs Super GT, Honda NSX GT Concept was also present at the Suzuka Circuit last week.

This vehicle is a development of the second-generation Honda NSX supersports vehicle. To conform with regulations the Super GT competition, the Honda NSX GT Concept car using injection inline four-cylinder engine with a capacity of 2.0 liters, and also equipped with a turbo engine. In addition, the car is also equipped with a hybrid racing technology system.

The return of the Honda NSX on the Super GT event, after for the last time their participating in the 2009 event. The Honda NSX first-generation has been used by Honda in the Super GT (formerly is called JGTC) since 1996. The return of the Honda NSX will automatically replace the Honda HSV010 GT role which has been used since the 2010 to 2013 season.

The latest model of this legendary car concept first introduced by Honda in the event the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan, beginning in January 2012. Before, or at the beginning of August, 2013, Honda also reported to the Acura (Honda) NSX fans that Acura (Honda) NSX prototype version will take part in the Honda Indy 200 Series. This supercar was slid in Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course arena in Lexington, Ohio, on August 4, 2013.

The Honda NSX prototype still maintain the NSX Concept design that was first exhibited at the NAIAS 2012. Honda 's car with the V6 engine installed in the middle position also equiped with 3 motors of the Sport Hybrid SH-AWD (Super Handling All Wheel Drive).

No further details were released, but we notice the addition of a wide body kit including a huge rear wing, a lowered suspension, a carbon fiber front spoiler lip, side vents and multi-spoke alloys shod in Bridgestone Potenza tires.
