Sophisticated car with 19th-century style is ready for sale

An electric car that has a design similar with the car in the 19th century introduced at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, which held in Chichester, England.

The car is named EV3 and made by the Morgan Motor Company. Although the design adopts old-fashioned style, but it turns out the car is still in the prototype stage is equipped with the latest technology.

As reported Worldcarfans, EV3 fully powered by electricity from a motor-powered 102 hp and a weight of 25 kg. This battery is able to make the car go as far as 241 km in a single charge. The process of the rechargeable battery can be done for four hours.

However, more detailed three-wheeled car specs are not available now. But, Morgan said that they wanted to EV3 speed like a regular car that has acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 6 seconds. The electric car is only able to 'run' the maximum 129 km/h. While non-electrical version is claimed to have a maximum speed of 185 km/h.

The British company says that the prototype is currently under full development, with the production car scheduled for launch towards the end of 2016. This is the second electric vehicle has produced, with the first to be the Plus E which was shown at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. NASA discovered the shining 'pyramid' at the Ceres asteroid

The pyramid was not only found on Earth alone. Recent research by NASA, a giant pyramid found in an asteroid. And interestingly, the pyramid was shining.

The glowing pyramid was seen from the photographs submitted by the NASA spaceprobe, "Dawn". From the pictures, the pyramid is a mountain with a peak similar to the pyramids in Egypt. And the predicted height of about 5 kilometers more, or equal to the height of Mount Blanc, the highest mountain in Europe.

Why the pyramid could shine?

As reported by the Daily Mail, on June 22, 2015, although it still required additional data to uncover the origin of the light, NASA assured that the light reflected by rays of the sun. The reflected light successfully because the mountain was covered in a layer of ice and salt. As a result, the mountain looks brighter than other parts of Ceres.

"For the moment, it is unclear what causes the strong light reflection. However, I am sure when the remnants of ice and salt layer that reflects light," said Dr. Marc Rayman, a principal engineer of the Dawn spaceprobe project.

Ceres is an asteroid with a diameter of 950 kilometers. The asteroid discovered in 1801 is often called a dwarf planet. Ceres now revolves around the sun in the asteroit belt that lies between Mars and Jupiter. Scientists developed the thinnest incandescent bulbs

A group of scientists from Columbia University, Seoul National University, and the Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science announced they successfully developed the incandescent lamp made of graphene. Graphene is a material that is thinner than the paper but strong as a gem that is suitable to make the thinnest light bulb ever.

Chairman of Research at Columbia University Young Duck Kim said, he found the light-emitting properties of graphene four years ago. "This discovery is surprising some people because they thought that graphene can not lead to the light," he said as reported by Mashable on Friday, June 19, 2015.

Kim and his team advise the use of this technology for the future. One of them could be used for Optical Network on chip communication. According to Kim, graphene could be used to create a thin incandescent lamp placed on a window or a wall in the next two to three years. In the next five years, graphene could be used to make transparent displays.

The face puzzle of scoop-headed sea worms solved

More than 100 years after the discovery of the first fossils, the face of ancient creature named Hallucigenia became a puzzle. Now, with the discovery of the latest specimen in Canada, scientists succeeded in solving the puzzle.

"The animal face was so strange. Animals that looked like a creature from another world," said Martin Smith, a paleontologist from the University of Cambridge, who conducted the research.

Hallucigenia sparsa is ancient sea creatures that live in the ocean about 500 million years ago. Animals that measures only 2 centimeters with one side of his body adorned with thorns, while on the other hand there is a sort of claw organs.

Animals that save a lot of puzzles. "In fact, there are still a lot of ambiguity about where the head and which the tail of the animal," said Smith.

The recent discoveries of the animal fossil was in the Burgess Shale, Canada, this time to give a lot of new instructions. Through observation with a microscope, scientists can see the Hallucigenia eyes and cheeks that turned rounded as if it were smiling.

Describing the moment when scientists looked at the creature's face, Smith said, "It's as if the fossil was smiling to us with the secrets it holds."

Hallucigenia have spoon-shaped head. In the mouth, there are two sets of teeth, wherein one circular in tip of the mouth and the other as marching from the esophagus to the stomach.

Studies reveal that the mysterious blob in animals that were not part of the body, but regurgitated stomach contents as fossilized animals.

Xiaoya Ma, head of the Natural History Museum in London, revealed that Hallucigenia reflect the early development of type peripatus, a creature with a body resembling a worm that does not have a backbone.

Mansory Zapico faced sharply with the style naked bike. Not only that, Modified motorcycle looks so grim and striking with many applications of carbon that is attached to its body. The design displays an aura of aggressive and sharp. With glaze carbon kevlar body of material to make it look like a monster gallant.

Zapico designed to have an aggressive aerodynamics combined with a brutal performance. Acceleration of the motorcycle reaches 3.3 seconds to reach a speed of 100 km/h, with power generated 160 PS (158 hp / 118 kW) from the V2 S&S engine that has a capacity of 2.0 liters.

Zapico reinforced with 3.5x18 inch sized alloy wheels for the front and 10x18 inches in the rear. They wrapped with 130/60/18" high quality tires in the front and 280/35/18" at rear.

The sixth period of mass Extinction on Earth has begun

The sixth period of mass extinction on Earth has been going on, according to a study of three leading universities in the US, warned that humans may be the first affected.

The studies conducted by researchers at Stanford University, Princeton University and the University of California-Berkeley show that in the last century, when more than 400 vertebrate disappeared, extinction rates at least 114 times higher than the normal level.

The findings, published by the Science Advances journal, similar to the one in the report by researchers from Duke University last year. Recent studies mention climate change, pollution and deforestation are among the factors that trigger mass extinction today.

Unorthodox Harley, a radical creations of Charlie Stockwell

A radical change try to shown by veteran builder Charlie Stockwell of London-based Warr's HD in 2011. Warr's HD is the Europe's oldest Harley dealership. By carrying out the Neo-Vintage style they dub this bike as 'Harley-Davidson Unorthodox'.

A mix of old school and modern styles merge into one on the motorcycle concept. And in the making, a Harley-Davidson Fatboy directly "stripped" by Stockwell until leaving the engine and chassis. Later he replaced the original fuel tank with a custom model.
