Mopar's Wrangler grabs the Hottest in the SEMA Show seven consecutive years

Jeep Wrangler modified by Mopar won the prestigious title in the 4x4 SUV class as the Hottest. And SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) management gave this award to Pietro Gorlier, Head of Parts & Service Mopar, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) at the Las Vegas Convention Centre in conjunction with the SEMA 2016 Show, which was held from October 31 to November 3, 2016.

Amazingly this award has been seven times in a row won by Mopar Wrangler. "SEMA and its members proved to be critical of the trend in the aftermarket industry and modifications. Proud as a recognition to the Mopar under the FCA can be satisfy the automotive enthusiasts," added Pietro.

The Wrangler variants is the most heavily modified and 14 customized Mopar rides and hundreds of Mopar accessory products on display at the Mopar's booth and become a magnet to the visitor of the event. Based on research conducted by Jeep, the Wrangler is a variant of the most heavily modified by Mopar. The amount is about 98 percent.

NICOLAS JACQUES CONTÉ (1755-1805)

Pensil merupakan salah satu alat tulis yang penting bagi kehidupan manusia. Pada perkembanganya, pensil bukan hanya digunakan untuk menulis atau melukis, tapi juga sebagai kosmetik. Lantas, siapakah yang berjasa membuat pensil?

Sebagaimana dikutip dari laman Pencilmuseum.co.uk pada Selasa, 8 November 2016, sejarah pembuatan pensil diawali dengan penggunaan grafit dengan batang logam tipis, pada 1564, di Borrowdale, Inggris. Grafit pada mulanya dimasukkan dalam sebuah tongkat kayu, yang menjadi cikal bakal pensil kayu modern.

Sebagai awal pemanfaatan grafit sebagai bahan baku pensil secara masal mulai pada 1662, di Nuremberg, Jerman. Selanjutnya, pada 1760, keluarga Faber yang tinggal di Jerman mendirikan pabrik pensil pertama. Namun, pensil buatan pabrik itu kurang diminati, sebab pensil yang dihasilkan mudah patah dan mengotori tangan.

Dan pada 1793, terjadilah perang antara Inggris dan Perancis. Perang tersebut mengakibatkan perekonomian Perancis melemah. Kondisi ekonomi yang lemah itu membuat impor grafit dari Inggris ke Perancis terhenti.

Di dalam kondisi serba sulit itu membuat seorang penemu dan insinyur dari Perancis, bernama Nicolas Jacques Conté berinovasi membuat isi pensil dari bahan grafit non-impor. Nicolas Jacques Conté lahir pada 4 Agustus 1755 di Aunou-sur-Orne, Perancis. Ia adalah seorang anggota korps ilmiah ekspedisi Napoleon ke Mesir (1798-1801) yang mengembangkan metode pembuatan pensil modern.

Pada tahun 1795 setelah melakukan berbagai percobaan, Conté berhasil menyempurnakan pembuatan pensil. Ia membuat isi pensil dari campuran grafit dan tanah liat, yang menghasilkan pensil berkualitas baik. Dari eksperimennya itu, Conté berhasil membuat pensil dengan warna hitam dengan tekstur yang baik.

Hingga saat ini, hasil eksperimennya itu masih digunakan sebagai ramuan pembuat isi pensil modern. Oleh sebab itulah, nama Nicolas Jacques Conté dikenal sebagai penemu pensil modern. Bahkan, sampai saat ini, nama Conté masih digunakan sebagai salah satu merek pensil di Perancis. Nicolas Jacques Conté meninggal di usia 50 tahun, pada 8 Desember 1805, di Paris, Perancis.

Pada awalnya, pensil diproduksi tanpa dicat pada bagian batangnya. Hal itu dimaksudkan untuk memperlihatkan kualitas kayu pada pensil itu. The first electric-powered scooter of Vespa is revealed

At the 2016 EICMA in Milan became the place to debut the 'Vespa Elettrica.' Unlike other Vespa scooter products, this scooter was came as the environmentally friendly vehicles by using electric power.

As quoted from Rushlane on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, the view of Vespa Elettrica draw attention on the event with a silver-plated body. The Italian eco-friendly scooters were given electric-blue accents in some parts of the body to show its identity as an electric vehicle.

Vespa Elettrica claimed as an agile scooter and easy to ride, so made its users will feel a driving pleasure similar as the gasoline-fueled scooter products. American police are using the muscle cars to pursue speeders

Cars with high performance not only be the richman toy for racing. In the right hands, a high performance car can be a powerful tool to support the law enforcement.

The fossil of birdlike dinosaurs found in China

More than 66 million years ago, a feathered dinosaurs have thin legs and a bony above his head, stuck in the mud. The poor beast struggling to be free from puddles of wet soil, until finally it gave up and died. Carcass then petrified. As fossils.

"Basically they are the last group of dinosaurs that evolved before the asteroid hits the Earth," he said further. The researchers from China and the United Kingdom argues, the fossil has important meaning to provides insight into the evolutionary transition from dinosaurs to birds.

The most lightest motorcycle ever made by Ducati

Yes, introducing the 'Ducati 1299 Superleggera,' one of the lightest bikes in history. This bike is a lot to apply the use of carbon fiber, ranging from the frame, swingarm, subframe, fairings up to wheels.
