Well, of the three candidates earlier, Ford Taurus has been appointed as the Police Interceptor, for daily police patrol cars in several states. As quoted from USAToday, Ford Taurus will be a patrol car with the best acceleration performance, 0-100 km per hour in 5.7 seconds.

Ford Taurus acceleration is better than the other candidates, such as the Chevrolet Caprice that takes 6.11 seconds and Dodge Charger with 6.05 seconds. Taurus agile performance comes from a turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine.
