The artwork is made by Gianluca Ferrerini, an Italian artist who began the project by collecting objects that can add beauty to create an art form that resembles the figure of a motorcycle.

The artist who lives and works in San Remo, Italy are participating in various events, began to devote himself to art, because he has a mechanical aptitude and high dedication in the creation of models and sculptures of the mechanic materials.

When creating this artwork seem he was inspired by the dream as a child was very interested in the world of machines and competition, as well as his obsession to become a famous racer. He built a model of mini motorcycle-style café racer, with a pile of Singer sewing machines were  clearly visible as its body. When this mini motorcycle been completed with steampunk art style complete with engine's cylinder, suspension springs, Firestone rubber tires completed with its disc brakes.

The new Batmobile with a more complete arsenal

Batman got the latest combat vehicles in the next sequel titled 'Justice League.' Batmobile, thus the name for the cars used by Batman, supported more weapons than the Batmobile that appeared in Batman battles with the Man of Steel. (Jump to the article)

As reported from Carscoops, Warner Bros. as the production house has released the appearance of the Batmobile LCI. This car is the work of Patrick Tatopoulos as the production designer.

"You've got missile launchers, cannons, machine guns," says Tatopoulos. These vehicles are claimed to be more lethal than the previous Batmobile that was appearing in the 'Batman vs. Superman' movie.

Other mainstay machines of Batman is Nightcrawler, which according to the story was a creation of his father, Thomas Wayne. The league will have their own plane called The Flying Fox, which has a huge size even can accommodate the Batmobile in it.

Deborah Snyder as the producer explains when Nightcrawler will act on a connecting tunnel between Metropolis and Gotham. This location is the story according to the abandoned tunnels and impenetrable by Batmobile.

"It is very difficult to get into the Batmobile there. So, it was pretty good with the Crawler, which can maneuver," says Snyder. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | CARSCOOPS]

Remembering the figure of Norton F1 Superbike

In the late 1980s to early 1990s, the Norton F1 Superbike is considered the most exotic motorcycle in the world. The design is not half-hearted because supported by many classy racing parts.

As we all knew, the Norton F1 uses twin spar aluminum chassis designed by Spondon, PVM wheels, Brembo brakes as well as WP adjustable suspension. Its figure is increasingly fierce with black, gray and gold full fairing, paintwork of 'John Player Special' so makes it stand out from other superbikes in that era.

But the most interesting is the model uses a rotary engine, although some brands have applied such as the Honda RC30, Yamaha OW01 and Bimota YB4, but none of those machines performing like the Norton F1.

The motorcycle was uses a liquid cooled twin-rotor rotary engine with a capacity of 588 cc, has a very fast rotation, could produces the power up to 85 hp and capable to reach a top speed of 225 km/h. The result was the Norton F1 able to collect many victories in the motorcycle racing events, including in the prestigious racing event like Isle of Man TT in 1992.

Superbike was designed by two British designers, ie Richard Seymour and Dick Powell of Seymourpowell, which is actually a clothing design company in London. Both had also designed the Yamaha and BMW Motorrad's hydrogen-powered motorcycle, and ENV. Understandably both are graduated from the Royal College of Art.

The beginning of its design seems easy, especially after they have studied the Honda CBR600, CBR1000F, and Bimota DB1. But the longer they design and find the reality that all of the design of the models refer to the complex aerodynamics, but that's an important factor supporting the futuristic motorcycles.

Although designed as a closed and the motorists seemed to blend into one with the motorcycle, but the design of the rear section is quite innovative. Why? because the hot air from the engine and the cooling is designed to flow out from the bottom. So that the body of the motorcycle like into a seamless unified shape.

Another problem, the Wankel engine intakes are in the middle of its two rotors, so that the air will enter through the exhaust part so easy to overheat and as the result was lose its power.
With the help of Brian Crighton, an engineer from Lichfield, on the exhaust section fitted air duct which will draw air as well as cool the internal parts. And Brian called it as Exhaust Ejector. Because of this brilliant idea was made the Norton attracted to hire him on the strategic and racing sections.

Researchers managed to create an artificial lava

Molten rock and water can be an explosive combination. That is why, scientists are trying to learn. Yes, when the molten rock mixed with water, it can show a strange and unexpected response, even dangerous things.
UB geologists make their own lava — For science, of course. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1bbrRn)
Geologists from the University at Buffalo seeking a better understanding of the interaction. They had perfected their recipe to create lava. And this artificial lava almost equally striking with real lava.

Making the lava by the university is one of the largest in the world. Each batch put 10 gallons of basaltic rock in the high-powered furnaces, heating to a temperature of 2,500 degrees Fahrenheit. Once the process is perfected, it's likely on this summer the researchers will begin to expose the molten rock with water.

Alison Graettinger, a geologist at the University of Buffalo said that previous studies ever conducted by Universität Würzburg in Germany. They use a small number of man-made lava, only the size of a coffee cup.

"Before, no one does it on this scale, and the interaction of lava and water is not well understood," Graettinger said in a statement.

"Sometimes when water and lava meet, lava will appear completely ignoring water. Sometimes, lava will cool down and form a typical crack pattern, or other forms of interest such as lava pillow. And sometimes, a strong reaction. Why?"

The research, funded by the National Science Foundation, was carried out in a field station in Ashford, New York.

According to the project leader, Ingo Sonder, a research scientist at the University at Buffalo's Center for GeoHazards Studies, big explosive event does not happen often, but this proves that the interaction of lava and water can pose a serious threat. In 2010, for example, the eruption at the Eyjafjallajökull volcano in Iceland turned into an explosive blast after magma melts on a large number of ice.
"As geologists, we want to understand what conditions would produce an explosion? How much water do you need? And how long?" Sonder said further.

Basically, the lava experiment is much more complicated than the baking soda and vinegar experiment. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | UNIVERSITY AT BUFFALO | THE HUFFINGTON POST]

How is it going the AM-RB 001 hypercar project?
Aston Martin's CEO Andy Palmer said, the car is still in the design process using clay or plastic material at this time. In terms of exterior appearance has reached the 80 percents, while the others are still prepared.

"We already have a car with a full size (prototype) to follow the vehicle validation test. We also are examining a sitting position, the position of the eyes, and the visibility of the driver while in the car," he said as quoted from Carscoops on Sunday, June 19, 2016.

Meanwhile, Chief Creative Officer and Design Director of Aston Martin Marek Reichman said that the car will be present as a mid-engine car. It also still counting the weight of the car, because the car will be applying the hybrid technology.

"We will focus on hybrid technology and the weight of the car. We can not make the car heavier because it must also calculate the weight of the battery in the car," he said.

Furtermore, the Aston Martin's hypercar will only be made by 99 units and only sold in certain countries. This is because the car is not expected to be used on the highway. Pricing is expected to be between £2 million and £3m. We will bring you more news as it becomes available. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | AUTOCAR | CARSCOOPS]

The unique concepts of Yamaha for urban mobility

In recent years, Yamaha have always been present many futuristic concepts that sometimes anti-mainstream. And Yamaha calls it as the Redefined Dynamism design philosophy, and always imbued with a gimmick of GEN.

Uniquely each GEN displayed motorcycle categories or different vehicles, such as 01GEN is trike dual-sport, 02GEN wheelchair, 03GEN-x and 03GEN-f tricycle and 04GEN semi-transparent scooter.

The next concept, namely 05GEN form of tricycle and 06GEN a dead fairy automobile. Both concept will be shown at the Toyo Ito Museum of Architecture in Imabari, the island of Shikoku in southern Japan on July 2-3, 2016.

Yamaha 05GEN
Especialy the Yamaha 05GEN concept combines an electric motorized bicycle with two front wheels adopted the tilt leaning technology like the Yamaha Tricity. So when turn allows the rider did the oblique maneuver.

Uniquely, the electric motor acts only as the torque addition to the rider pedaling (Pedelec). And electric motor bike was equipped with a protective canopy, so that the motorist avoid the scorching heat and light rain.

Yamaha 06GEN
While Yamaha 06GEN is Yamaha's latest four-wheeled concept, looks like the love child of a golf cart and the Disneyland parking shuttle. It was also designed to handle short-range urban trips, but this time there's room for the driver's friends to come along for the ride.
