Know the Mazda's first model that carries rotary technology

Mazda Cosmo Sport or Mazda 110S was the first model that uses rotary engine and has been introduced on May 30, 1967, as well as being one of the historic moment in the automotive world. Now its re-appearance in public, when accompanying its successors in the modern era, the RX-Vision, at the Tokyo Motor Show 2015.

Currently the Cosmo Sport prestige was already faded, and the location of its appearance in the Mazda booth was located behind the commercial model. Nevertheless the sport coupe is worthy of more respect.

Cosmo Sport has brought Mazda spirit in the developing the rotary engine further, many other cars that have been produced such as the Familia Rotary, Luce Rotary Coupe, RX series and other models for the racing event. The last model is the RX-8 already stopped production in 2012 at the same time removing the use of a rotary engine on Mazda's production model.
After that many rumors blow, Mazda will stop developing the rotary engines. Despite many innovations are implemented, there are still three major problems that are difficult removed, the fuel efficiency, emissions, and durability.

SKYACTIV technology which is already used in all models of Mazda turned out to be the answer for overcoming the weakness of the rotary engine. Mazda introduced a new creation that combines both, SKYACTIV-R. Its world debut packed in the form of the RX-Vision concept car.

The RX-Vision engine lies in the front with the rear wheels drive, as typical of a conventional sports car. This is the Mazda's interpretation of sports model with a rotary engine in the future. Not much detail the technology described, but the SKYACTIV-R is referred to as the forerunner to the evolution of the Mazda rotary engine.

Now, Mazda claims to be the only manufacturer that successfully produces and sells rotary-engined car to the market. It certainly can not be done without the presence of the pioneers, the Cosmo Sport. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | KOMPAS OTOMOTIF]

The future technology of Tire is Airless and Leakproof

Concerns over the tires problems, such as leaking, not durable, expensive, and monotonous because it always appears in black, are likely to disappear in the future. At the Tokyo Motor Show 2015, Sumitomo Rubber Industries (Dunlop Japan) featuring two new tire technology concepts, ie. Gyroblade, an airless tire and Coreseal, a sealant tire, both make you no longer need to carry a spare tire on the your car.

Gyroblade is the concept of an airless tire. The design, a metal rim that circled by special resin material (purple and yellow color section), then coated the tire tread. This configuration was said to meet all the requirements of a tire, without the need of air-filled.

Gyroblade design is said to be not only safe when punctured of sharp objects, but also cut maintenance costs. Once used, the car does not need to change the tire. The resin layer can be made a variety of colors, so this product supports the aesthetic style as desired of the user.
Coreseal, a sealent tire technology. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/1NnelAt)
While Coreseal is a tire technology concept that has a first-aid system when the tire punctured of sharp objects. It is possible, because there is a special coating on the inside of the tread which served to fill a gap after the tire hollowed. Its function is to prevent the air out. So, you no longer need to use the spare tire when have used Coreseal.

The results of this development not only get rid of the problems on the conventional tire but also increase the safety factor. Scientists discover 'Planet' Without the Sun

An object like a planet named 'PSO J318.5-22,' regarded as one of the most curious findings. With nearly the size of Jupiter, it floats freely out on its own in space.

By using a telescope in Chile, the University of Edinburgh astronomers to show the planet was covered with a thin layer of clouds and thick. The clouds were detected there reportedly is made of molten liquid iron. And scientists estimate it was only about 20 million years, also those 'Planet' does not have the sun.

Without the glare of the parent star (sun), the research team was able to measure variations in the brightness of the object accurately. They estimated the temperature inside the cloud exceeds 800 degrees Celsius. Its cloud consisting of hot dust and molten iron.

"These findings show how the clouds exist everywhere, including planets and planet-like objects," said Dr. Beth Biller of physics and astronomy faculty of the University of Edinburgh as quoted by the BBC, on Friday, November 6, 2015.

"We are trying to use a (measurements) technique to giant planets around young stars, and eventually we will detect the weather on Earth-like planets that may support life." The findings are published in The Astrophysical Journal. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | BBC]
