Super exclusive motorcycle

The Bugatti Veyron is considered one of the most incredible cars in the world and now Hesketh aims to make their latest offering an equally impressive motorcycle. That’s quite a goal considering that they only just launched their first new bike in 32 years.

Their last bike was the Hesketh 24 which was launched last year in limited numbers, just 24 units. It made its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in June and has so far managed to sell 16 units leaving some still out there for the taking. It’ll cost you about $50,000 if you want to nab one of these exclusive bikes before they’re gone, or you can wait for the one they’ve got planned for 2016.

The Hesketh 24 uses an an air-cooled, 2.0-liter V-twin with 123 horsepower and 145 lb-ft of torque, but what will replace it once that last unit sells will be even better. Speaking to the Telegraph, company owner Paul Sleeman said, “If the 24 is like an Aston Martin, we’re working on a Bugatti Veyron.”
They won’t release the new bike until the 24 sells out, which they expect to happen shortly. The tiny company will then get to work on their new unnamed bike. Considering the company employs just six people and builds and sells all their bikes from one location in Surrey, England, it’ll be interesting to see what they manage to pull off.

From Camper to Dragster: The Fastest VW Kombi on Earth

Brutal Nostalgia - There’s something beautifully ironic about turning a slow, iconic symbol of freedom and leisurely road trips into a fire-breathing beast of speed. The Volkswagen Kombi, often associated with surfboards, peaceful getaways, and hippie culture, has become a cult classic around the globe. But what happens when this beloved box on wheels falls into the hands of a drag racing maniac with a vision unlike any other? Welcome to the wild world of the Mental Breakdowna VW Kombi like no other, and undeniably the fastest one to ever hit the tarmac.

Mental Breakdown is the VW Kombi fastest ever! (Picture from: BarcroftCars)
Wayne Allman isn’t just a mechanic or a car builder; he’s an artist of absurd horsepower and mechanical audacity. Known for his deep-rooted passion for drag racing, Wayne took on an ambitious project: transforming a humble 1965 split-screen VW pickup into a full-fledged dragster. It sounds almost sacrilegiousturning a van once meant for families and camping trips into something that can melt asphaltbut that's exactly what makes it so brilliant.

At the heart of this insane build lies meticulous craftsmanship and relentless attention to detail. Wayne didn’t simply slap a big engine into the van and call it a day. He reengineered the entire chassis, reinforcing the structure to handle the ungodly force it was about to endure. The body retained its classic Kombi silhouetteboxy, retro, and full of characterbut underneath, it became a different animal entirely. Every line, every weld, and every bolt screamed speed and purpose

And then there’s the engine. The ‘Mental Breakdown’ is powered by nothing less than a monstrous 8.6-liter V8 HEMI engine. Yes, you read that right8.6 liters of pure, unfiltered aggression, delivering a jaw-dropping 2,000 horsepower. That’s not just fast for a Kombi; that’s fast by any standard. The combination of absurd power and nostalgic design makes this build a breathtaking contradictiona van that looks like it belongs at a 60s beach party but moves like a bullet fired from a cannon.

Wayne managed to preserve the soul of the Kombi while giving it a new identity, one that defies expectations and stretches the imagination. It’s loud, it’s wild, it’s completely over-the-top — and it’s glorious. There’s something undeniably captivating about seeing a vehicle, known for its chill vibes, suddenly roaring down a drag strip like it's trying to outrun the past.
The Mental Breakdown isn’t just a car; it’s a statement. A showcase of what happens when creativity collides with horsepower, and nostalgia gets a nitrous boost. In a world full of cookie-cutter cars and predictable builds, this Kombi stands out as a reminder that no dream is too bold — and no vehicle is too humble to be reborn as something legendary. *** [EKA [15032015] | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | BARCROFTCARS ]

NASA spacecraft reaches the Ceres

A NASA spaceprobe slipped into orbit around Ceres, a dwarf planet across Mars is believed to be the rest of the formation of the solar system. And Dawn is a spaceprobe of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and became the first spacecraft to reach orbit around the dwarf planet.

Currently Dawn is approximately 61,000 kilometers of Ceres when capturing the gravity of the largest object in the asteroid belt of Mars and Jupiter on Friday, March 6, 2015.

Mission control at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) of NASA in Pasadena, California, receives a signal from the Dawn spacecraft that was in good health and got a boost from its ion engine, as well as the indicators mentioned that Dawn entered orbit as planned.

"Since the discovery in 1801, Ceres is known as planets, and asteroids, and then the dwarf planet," said Marc Rayman, Dawn's chief engineering and director of the mission at JPL.

"Now, after traveling 3.1 billion miles (4.9 billion kilometers) and 7.5 years, Dawn calls Ceres as home," he said as quoted by NASA's official website. In addition to becoming the first spacecraft to visit Ceres, Dawn is also the first mission goes into the orbits of two extraterrestrial targets.

During 2011 to 2012, the spacecraft was to explore the giant asteroid Vesta, transmit new knowledge and thousands of images of distant worlds. Ceres and Vesta are the two of the largest occupants in the main asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter in our solar system.
Latest pictures received from the spacecraft's, which was taken on March 1, 2015, shows Ceres as crescent, mostly in shadow. When Dawn emerged from the dark side of Ceres, the plane will send sharper pictures. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | SPACEDAILY]

Here it is the secret behind one of the Furious 7 scenes!

The fans of the Fast and Furious series would not be patient to wait for the Seventh series of this movie aka Furious 7. From a lot of teaser which raised to the surface, it is no wonder that the prospective audience will be more curious. (See the Furous 7 exotic cars).

One of the most phenomenal is how does Dom Toretto and his friends jump from a Hercules aircraft along with their cars. Maybe you will be ask about this scene. Is the scene real or fake? Given that, when the late Paul Walker died, in this film there are also some scenes rely on the CGI (Computer Generated Imagery).

But what would we watch will not be that simple. In fact, the Furious movie producer states that the free fall scene of the fuselage is a real scene! Extraordinary! And Jack Gill as the stunt coordinator who coordinates so that all cars are 'thrown away' from the plane, completely original and not using any computer animations.

The cars were freefalling at 130-140 mph after being airdropped from a Lockheed C-130 Hercules flying at around 12,000 feet. The parachutes were activated once the cars reached a 5,000 feet altitude and thankfully it all ended exactly as planned.
This is the original scene, which makes us more and more amazed to this movie. For details, please watch the video below.
