Meet the Husqvarna Vektorr electric scooter concept

Unique ONES We've glad to be back and talked about the scooter again. Currently, in which many the world's vehicle motorized manufacturers are starting to transition their products from the ones used conventional engine into the electric-driven motors. This has also been done by Husqvarna, a Swedish manufacturer which since last year began to develop their electric two-wheeled vehicle products.

As we discussed in a previous article last year, the Swedish manufacturer had been introduced an electric scooter concept under a code name of the E-01 along with another motorcycle concept called the E-Pilen. And now the Husqvarna has officially named its electric scooter concept the Husqvarna Vectorr.

In terms of design, although it is still a prototype, if we look closely, this two-wheeled vehicle already looks like a street legal motorcycle designed for urban transportation. As you can see at the round headlights in a classic style, but overall the Vektorr has a boxy shaped design such an electric scooter styles in general, which then given a simple futuristic touches and also a sophisticated impression without many curves with a very simple color combinations.

Besides that, Husqvarna also said if its electric powered scooter based of the Indian-made Bajaj Chetak electric scooter. As we all know that the Bajaj Chetak electric scooter is powered by a 48V/6.3Ah battery pack that sends power to a 4080W BLDC motor. It is this battery and motor combination that is also expected to power the Husqvarna Vektorr electric scooter. Several other components will also be shared between the two electric scooters.

Perhaps You will asked, why this could be happened? As quoted of the Motorcyclenews, the Swedish motorcycle company Husqvarna has become a subsidiary of Pierer Mobility, a holding company that also oversees the Indian motorcycle manufacturer Bajaj Auto, so no wonder if they can share the machinaries each others.

The electric motor that drives forward the Husqvarna Vectorr is said to have a low voltage, which is around 48 V which is equivalent to a 5 horsepower conventional engine. Althought not many technical details are provided by Husqvarna, the company only mentioned that the Vectorr Concept could be riden up to a top speed of around 45 kph with a cruising range of 95 km.

Interestingly, there is no mention of the battery packeges like on the E-Pilen. In fact, Pierer Mobility, also known to own the Austrian's motorcycle brand, KTM had become part of a consortium for the development of swapping standard battery packages with Piaggio, Yamaha, and Honda. It seems that the electric motor for the Husqvarna Vectorr concept had already begun long before Pierer Mobility decided to sign the battery consortium mentioned above.

The production version of Husqvarna’s electric scooter will be made in India. As the consecuences, it is clear that the electric powered urban scooter would be targeting the consumers in the Asian countries, especially for countries that have started the campaigning for electric-powered vehicles, such India.

So, would this electric powered scooter be mass-produced? There's still unknown, as the manufacturer hasn't announced it yet. As previously mentioned, Husqvarna is not only presenting the electric scooter concept, there is also the Husqvarna E-Pilen, an electric sport naked bike based on the Husqvarna Vitpilen.
As quoted from several media in Europe, that said the presence of these two urban motorized vehicle concepts from Husqvarna is a sign of their readiness to launch electric-powered vehicle products which reportedly will debut in 2022 to come. Let's just wait...!

Kept spur your adrenaline on the power of the two-wheeled monster and stay alive with true safety riding. May God will forgive Your sins and so does the cops..... *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | DRIVESPARK | MOTORDYBASTY | MOTORCYCLENEWS ]
