The first Aston Martin motorcycle had shown off in Milan

Aston Martin is known as one of the leading automotive manufacturers who had launched many variants of premium cars with qualified power and supported by the latest specifications. But recently, Aston Martin had shown off its first motorcycle concept to the public at the EICMA 2019 event in Milan along with the Aston Martin Vanquish Vision Concept.

It seems that the British premium car manufacturer wants to try their luck in the two-wheeled vehicle manufacturing industry. But Aston Martin is not the first car manufacturer to try to make a motorcycle.

Previously, in the world's automotive there's the Italian supercar manufacturer such as Lamborghini has also made motorbikes in the past named Lamborghini Design 90 in 1986 and a year before, Ferrari also ever gave a license to David Kay Engineering to make a motorcycle named Ferrari 900. And an almost decade before, Porsche, the German manufacturer has also ever made a motorcycle concept called the Porsche AMK Concept in 1978, etc.

As quoted by the Visordown, the motorcycle concept named Aston Martin Brough AMB-001. The superbike was developed by Aston Martin with its compatriot motorcycle manufacturer Brough Superior.

Like the character of the Aston Martin automotive products, this superbike is produced in very limited quantities. And the naming of AMB on the motorcycle concept is predicted is "Aston Martin Brough" where the name was derived from the abbreviation name of those two companies.

This motorcycle concept has a unique and futuristic design. Not only that, this motorcycle also emphasizes the aerodynamic design seen from the front-end of the motor that is made curved, so that it will be easier for the rider when racing fast on the tracks.

This motorcycle carries a 999 cc turbo V2 engine that produces power up to 180 hp. The engine had used variable valve timing and intercooler technology, which can reduce air resistance and limit the engine overheating. While the brake pad is designed specifically for the AMB-001.
Reportedly, the AMB-001 motorbike will be produced by hand at the Brough Superior factory, in Toulouse, France in very limited quantities of 100 units and is sold starting at US $120,000 or approx Rp.1.6 billion.
