After some time ago, NIO managed to surprise the world's automotive lovers by setting a record at Nurburgring through NIO EP9. And now the Chinese company is introducing a new electric SUV. This sophisticated electric SUV is already embedded the latest Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, NOMI.

As reported by Carscoops, at the beginning of 2017, the Chinese automotive company has introduced the NIO ES8, a high-performance electric SUV. The car that appears in a futuristic and firm design is claimed to use the most amounts of aluminum for its bodywork on a mass production car.
This electric SUV adopts two electric motors capable of producing a combined power of 643 hp with a peak torque of 840 Nm. So as to enable this four-wheeled drive SUV to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.4 seconds.
The energy source of this car comes from 70 kWh battery. The company claims the car's mileage reaches 355 km on a singgle fully battery charged. If the battery runs out, the battery can be exchanged with new batteries in just three minutes.
NIO is ambitious to provide 1,100 battery exchange stations. And other charging support is 1,200 power mobile vehicles that can provide the NIO ES8 mileage up to 100 km after 10 minutes of charging.
If later produced, this Chinese electric SUV will be priced at around $67,715 (approx Rp.919 million) in China.
