Sin's revolutionary street legal racing car

The Geneva Motor Show 2018 automotive exhibition has become a showcase for a number of vehicle manufacturers in the world to showcase the latest and futuristic products of theirs. Of course they present the best vehicles they have in an effort to attract visitors.

Of the many cars that appeared at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, it turned out that there was one car that attracted enough attention, namely the Sin S1. Yes, the new car made by the Bulgarian automotive manufacturer, did get a lot of attention from visitors to the event.

Not because the fast engine, but because the design is unique and tends to be weird. In fact, this lightweight sports car received the title of "the ugliest car ever made" from The Sunday Times.

Basically Sin S1 is referred to as a car that can be driven on highways and race circuits. Even Sin Cars itself calls it as revolutionary street legal racing car. But what sets it apart is the modular car design. Or can be said, this car can be easily disassembled by using the same component.

As reported by Carscoops, consumers who buy it can choose their own machine, gearbox, interior and even the body. In addition, consumers can also choose for themselves whether carrying a plug-in hybrid, full electric, or conventional engine.

For the choice of a plug-in hybrid engine, it equipped with a 24 kWh battery, with an electric motor that produces the power of 120 hp and a 2.0-liter turbocharger powered by 255 hp and able to offer a mileage of up to 200 Km.

If you choose a pure electric version, this car has the power of 120 hp, equipped with sequential gearbox, and battery of 24-48 kWh. The EV mileage between 200-400 Km. As for conventional engines, there are two choices, namely the 2.3-liter turbo and the 3.5-liter engine.

For a 2.3-liter turbo engine capable of producing the power of 310 hp and 434 Nm of torque, then for 3.5 liters ejects the power of 365 hp and 570 Nm of torque. The 2.3 liter version is claimed able to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds, while the 3.5 liter version takes 2.5 seconds.
