8 Most unique & beautiful Racing Cars ever made (Part-1)

Racing cars produced by one goal is to win the race. Therefore, all other features are usually made only to support these objectives. In fact, sometimes the designers of racing cars are undermining the aesthetic aspect.

The car aesthetics is usually not considered in the race car. But not so with the following 8 racing cars. It can be said these cars represent a combination of speed to win the race with the car's aesthetics. So not infrequently these cars also have a shape that is quite unique and beautiful.

8. 1962 Lesovsky Indianapolis Roadster
From 1934 to 1960s, the racing event in Indianapolis, USA was controlled by the cars like this. The 1962 Lesovsky Indianapolis Roadster is equipped with a 4-cylinder engine and a 2-speed manual transmission. This unique and beautiful racing car could be drove with the power up to 329 hp.

7. 1964 Spirit II Dragster
In an effort to reach 200 miles per hour in the quarter mile, future Land Speed Record holder Craig Breedlove developed this full body dragster, crafted by a master builder of Indy roadsters. As it turned out the car was faster without the bodywork, but boy it looked great.

6. 1965 Summers Brother Goldenrods
This racing car uses four Chrysler Hemi engines, so it could be spewed the power more than 2,400 hp. The Goldenrod was the record holder of the fastest land vehicles from 1965 to 1991. The beauty and uniqueness of Goldenrod could be seen through the shape that resembles a gold-colored missiles.

5. 1967 Eagle T1G
This racing car designed by former Lotus engineer for AAR team, Dan Gurney. And the 1967 Eagle T1G has been named repeatedly as the most beautiful car of his day. The power of Eagle T1G derived from the V-12 engine that is designed by AAR team. Although it has a view that is quite convincing, but this racing car was only won in one Grand Prix championship.
