Penemu Rotasi Medan Magnet

NICOLAS TESLA (1856-1943)

Ia bekerja sama dengan George Westinghouse, pemilik Westinghouse Electric and Manufacturing Company. Nikola memperkenalkan motor dan sistem listrik disebuah makalah "New System of Alternating Current Motors and Transformer".

Scientists successfully grow a dinosaur feet on a chicken embryo

For the first time in the world, scientists have managed to grow a dinosaur feet in the chick embryo. The work of the scientists in Chile is featured in the latest issue of the journal Evolution.

Bird species in the world are believed by scientists to be a descendant or the result of the evolution of dinosaurs. The experiment is itself one goal to prove that theory.
Scientists in Chile have figured out a way to resurrect the prehistoric traits of dinosaurs. Dinosaurs once had a tube-shaped fibula that stretched down to the ankle. When dinosaurs evolved into birds (illustration shown) this transformed to become the short, splinter-like fibula of birds today. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1YeLmH)
"These experiments focus on one feature, to test specific hypotheses," said Alexander Vargas of the University of Chile as quoted by Discovery News.

Vargas and his team wanted to know how the leg bone in modern birds species evolved. In dinosaur, the bone called fibula, shaped like a tube and extending to the ankles. While in modern birds, the fibula loses its lower end and become shorter. The bird fibula connected to the shinbone (fibia). Shinbone is connected directly to the claw.
To achieve the long dinosaur-like bone, the researcher inhibited a maturation gene called Indian Hedgehog. With this suppressed, the chickens maintained their tubular fibula, which remained long and connected to the ankle like a dinosaur. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1YeLmH)
Previously, scientists have known that when embryonic, the bird fibula similar to the structure of the dinosaur feet but then changes as it grows.
Researchers were able to delay the movement of the bird embryos and found that the bone did not twist and instead grew like the foot of a dinosaur. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1YeLmH)
In his experiments, Vargas intervened growth in chicken embryos. They inhibit the growth of a gene called Indian Hedgehog (IHH), which causes the chick embryo has a dinosaur feet. The embryos were not expected to hatch out of the egg, but will be used by scientists to study biological processes behind changes in foot structure on the modern birds species.
This experiment - change the members of the bird's body back to the dinosaur body - not the first. In 2015, the scientists from the United States managed to turn the chicken beak into a dinosaur beak. Vargas and his team had previously been change the chicken feet into a dinosaur-like feet. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURES | DAILYMAILDISCOVERY NEWS]

MV Agusta Age of Ultron motorcycle concept

Maybe some of the automotive enthusiasts assume that the motorcycle and the film is an interesting combination. Turns out it has been realized by a Hungarian automotive designer to make the MV Agusta motorcycle design with the style of 'The Avengers: Age of Ultron' movie. This was in spite of the news of financial woes of the famous Italian motorcycle manufacturer which became a byword in various media today.

As reported by Autoevolution on Monday, February 22, 2016, the Hungarian designers who make motorcycle design are Tamás Jakus of Jakusa Design. The 'Ultron' motorcycle seems to be based on the MV Agusta RR Dragster customized specifically for the Formula 1 driver, Lewis Hamilton.

The Ultron machine is less flashy than the Hamilton edition, but is at least as intriguing, if not even more. Jakus also infused a hefty dose of H.R. Giger biomechanic DNA into the Ultron bike, and the effect is easy to observe.

Motorcycle design looks quite interesting. Its color selection tailored to the distinctive color of the characters in 'The Avengers: Age of Ultron' movie. The organic attire of the bike does come with a dash of intimidating effect. The vibe is also accented by the rather uncomfortable feeling caused by the headlight.

But keep in mind, this bike is not a tangible form. The designer simply convey his imagination into a design image. Not yet known whether the MV Agusta attracted to mass-produce this design or not. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | AUTOEVOLUTION]

A Belarusian iron Duck combined 3 motorbike styles

Yuri Shif Custom (YSC) is a world-class genius builder. The Belarusian builder managed to combine three major of modified motorcycle designs in one motorcycle, ie the board tracker, cafe racer and modern design of the 21st Century.

And YSC including one of the builders who regularly follow the AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building, and their latest creation named "Ducky," is a cafe tracker will make you amazed with the detail perseverance on their annual motorbike work. And numerous awards flowed for this motorbike, as 2015 European Biker Build-Off and 2016 Motor Bike Expo in Verona.

Yuri build Ducky inspired with the rubber duck while he was sitting at his desk. The process was initiated by establishing a framework of Board Track models of steel with a single down tube and back bone, as well as the rake of 27 degrees.

Remarkably, the single bottom rail functioned as the parallel engine links and as well as a rear subframe, so no need the big plate as the engine links and simultaneously to damping vibrations on the frame.

Ducky's vintage girder forks are a link leading alloy as lathe results and its rounded tube become the perfect as the stem binder of an old school style handlebars. But its modern adjustable shockabsorber in order not easy dive, and comfortable in high speed. The back was rigid, with a cross bar holding the rear tire fender

The Ducky painted with the yellow acrylic color to keep pace with the first inspiration. For the engine, Yuri using a 997 cc engine of the 1978 Harley-Davidson to show the classic impression. But now, it uses a Mikuni 41 mm carburetor with the Yuri's custom manifold. The propulsion chain taken from of 1941 WLA, while the clutch belonging to the HD Vintage but with sprocket and drive made by Yuri, including levers.
Modify and build a motorcycle is one thing but Yuri make it functional, although the motorcycle figure looks simple and minimalist like a rubber duck which could running on the street. Here she is another YSC works mysteriously called Gustav Skippone. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | PIPEBURN]

Dogs know cancer earlier than you?

A Labrador retriever can effectively detect cancers such as laboratories, according to an ongoing study to test the ability of a dog's nose to sniff cancer in patients. A recent study found that trained dogs can detect prostate cancer in urine with a 98 percent accuracy rate.

There are two 3 year old female german dogs was trained by Italian Minsitry of Defense's Military Veterinary Center to recognize prostate cancer through positive reinforcement of volatile organic compounds.

The dogs are analyzing more than 400 urine samples and one dog detect prostate cancer with accuracy up to 100, while the other dog reach up to 98.6 percent accuracy rate.

However, prostate cancer is not the only type of cancer that can be detected by a dog. Man's best friend has also been proved that their nose can detect the breast, ovarian, colon, bladder, skin and lungs cancers through the breath of patients.

Cancer causes the body to release certain organic compounds that can be detected by dogs but not humans, and scientists hope that by studying the phenomenon can help them someday to develop an electronic dog's nose can detect cancer.

With 220 olfactory cells that are in a dog's nose, while humans only 50 million, it is estimated that a dog's nose can smell the smells of up to one million times better than humans.

In addition to scientific research, there is also anecdotal evidence that says that dogs can detect cancer. Many dog owners are telling the story of their pets constantly sniff or nudging area of their body that turns out to be the area where the tumor is derived.

That's what happened to Maureen Burns who has a 9 year old collie mix dog, named Max, began to behave strangely. Her dog sniff her breasts and backed by what is called a sad look in his eyes.

Burns did have a small lump in her breast, but her mammogram had been clear. But as Max's peculiar behavior persisted, she returned to the doctor and asked for a biopsy. Doctors were surprised to learn the lump was cancerous. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | MNN]
