New frog species can give birth

New types of Sulawesi frog shocked the world. When the frog usually reproduce by means of laying eggs, but these frogs breed with childbirth. The frog was discovered by the herpetology of Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Djoko Iskandar Tjahjono, and his partner, Ben J Evans of McMaster University in Canada and Jimmy A McGuire of University of California, Berkeley.

Being able to give birth to tadpoles, frogs recently included in the group of animals that ovovivipar breed. Different ovovivipar with oviparous (egg-laying) and viviparous (give birth). Ovovivipar means developing embryo in the egg remained inside the mother's body, but out of the parent body in a state already hatched.

The new frog species is named Limnonectes larvaepartus, according to its nature, is able to give birth to larvae (larvae: larvae or tadpoles, parturition: giving birth). In the publication in the journal PLoS ONE on Wednesday, December 31, 2014, Djoko stated that this type has been encountered since he conducted a survey of the diversity of frogs in Sulawesi in 1996 ago.

However, the identity of this frog as a new species could not be determined because there is no evidence of the behavior of childbirth.Behavior seen during childbirth then successfully Djoko and team conducted field studies in Sulawesi this year. Until now, the behavior of childbirth is still a mystery. How can frogs are usually external fertilization (no union between sperm and egg cells in the body) can give birth? Limnonectes larvaepartus referred to as the only type of frog were able to give birth tadpoles and one of the 12 species of frogs that have evolved internal fertilization.

Previously, there were Rheobatrachus frogs known "incubating" their eggs in the stomach and then spit it out in the form of tadpoles. However, the group of frogs were already extinct in the 1980s. Meanwhile in Africa, there is a genus of Nectophrynoides and Nimbaphrynoides who can bear. However, both of them gave birth to young frogs, instead of tadpoles.

Limnonectes larvaepartus, was found in the region of Central Sulawesi, expressed as endemic species. The distribution is not known with certainty because surveys frog diversity and population on the island is still minimal. The frogs usually live in the range of 2-10 meters distance from the waters. Physically, the frog is unique because it has a similar bulge fangs and gold color in the back area.

Sulawesi is believed to be home to about 25 species of fanged frogs. In the middle of the forest exploitation in Sulawesi, this endemic frog needs to be protected. A radical motorcycle concept by Koenigsegg

Koenigsegg, a Swedish supercar manufacturer has been known to give birth to a supercar that has very expensive price and fast. Currently they have announced Koenigsegg One:1, a supercar that offers an amazing engine that could spewed of power up to 1,341 hp.

Koenigsegg seems not to be outdone by other supercar company, Lotus. As already known at the beginning of 2014 the British supercar maker has launched the Lotus C-01 motorcycle. Well what if, the company's latest project this time instead of the cars, but motorcycles that called Koenigsegg Motorcycle Concept.

Front fork uses the YSS, while its large tire flanked by two large diskbrakes. While on the back, two funnel exhaust coincide with the single-seater seat models. The rear wheels also look wider and use the blue accented suspension.

Koenigsegg Motorcycle Concept is designed will have the power and performance of more crazy than the Lotus C-01. The row of exotic cars in the Fast & Furious 7

Some time ago the Universal Pictures officially released the premiere trailer of the latest sequel of Fast & Furious or Fast & Furious 7 (FF7) which lasted two and a half minutes. Although still the opener footage, it has seen the cars that will be appeared in this street racing movie.

Since the first sequel of The Fast & Furious which released in 2001, until the 6th sequel, in Fast & Furious 6 which aired in 2013, the film is still presenting exotic cars of various brands, starting from the American muscle cars, Japanese cars until European sports cars.

Dodge and Plymouth

The fans of Furious 7 certainly looking forward to what cars will be on display in the latest sequel that will be released next April 2015.

This machine is capable spewing the power up to 750 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque. The acceleration from 0-100 kph only in 2.8 seconds, and has a top speed of 390 kph. What funny cartoon characters in your cars

The world's automotive designers seems took the inspiration design of what it finds, such as the funny face of cartoon characters.

As cited of Autoevolution which has conducted a little research and see some of the car interior designs that resemble the face of cartoon characters.
