A distinct café racer touches of Mash Motors

A Bilthoven-based workshop presented a Mash Motors motorcycle with a café racer style which is different from most. Some parts are embedded is the result of mixing of various styles in the world of motorcycle modification.

This café racer motorcycle was the result of the touches of Dutchman modifiers of the Wrench Kings named similar to the Marvel’s comic book character 'Green Goblin' has the unique sides and different. The combination embedded of various part models which make it has an attractive looks.

From the front, its rounded headlamp cover with a touch of custom bagger style but still maintain its café racer impression. This section is combined with the rounded handles with a classic touch of light brown and harmonized with the motorbike's seat.

From the top, this custom motorcycle also looks slim. The section of custom fuel tank made with a retro model which combined with its stern that resembles a hornet tail which is the hallmark of café racer style, but with the addition of the bulge on the left and right sides.

After finished with the body part and left the chassis and engine were opened, to add value to its own details. To the side of the wheel, by using the spoke wheel models and wrapped with two Firestone distinctive retro tires.

Vitpilen Aero Concept appeared in Café Racer style at the EICMA 2016

Husqvarna still rely on Vitpilen 401 and Svartpilen 401 while performing at the EICMA Milan 2016. In addition, it turn out Husqvarna also brought a motorcycle concept called as 'Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 Aero Concept' at the event.

As quoted from Rideapart on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, a motorcycle that appears as the latest models of the 401 series with café racer style is a manifestation of the modern interpretation of a motorcycle design. So it is not surprising that Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 Aero has a handsome look.

Husqvarna 401 Vitpilen Aero Concept uses a 373 cc engine similar as Vitpilen 401 and KTM 390 Duke. But at the Aero concept motorcycle engine combined with 6 speed transmission system is capable of producing the power of 44 horsepower. Therefore, Husqvarna saw that the performance was the target of the new generation of riders today.

As on other motorcycles, the Aero Concept has a lightweight trellis frame structure, so that the weight of the motorcycle concept becomes very light at only 148 kg. Its bodywork design looks sustainable, with clip-on handlebars, WP Suspension, aerodynamic fairing, windscreen, single seat, and a pointed tail design, which makes this motorcycle concept has a very striking character of sport.
Husqvarna 401 Vitpilen Aero look lower and easier to drive because it is also equipped with many advanced features like ride-by-wire, ABS, slipper clutch, Brembo brake system and TFT screen as well. Husqvarna stated that whoever the rider of the motorcycle, will feel the harmony while riding, thanks to the windscreen line, helmet and rider made seemed to coalesce into a part of the motorcycle's groove while riding. This bike is planned to be produced in 2018.

Ducati Scrambler was shown in two new models at the EICMA 2016

At a big event like EICMA Show, which held in Milan every year has always been a showcase for the world motorcycle manufacturers to introduce their flagship products.

And this time, at the EICMA 2016, Ducati showing at least 6 new types of motorcycles. And of which there are two models of the latest variants of the Ducati Scrambler, ie Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled and Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer.

Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled is the motorcycle designed for use in off-road terrain. This is evident from the use of the KYB 46 mm suspension, wide handlebars and the front fender mounted a bit high just below the headlamp. This bike also use bear-claw footpegs to make the rider footrests more stable.

In addition, the motorcycle is also quite high with the seat spacing to the ground reaches 860 mm. This bike uses 19-inches spoke rims in front and 17-inches rear as well as wraped with Pirelli Scorpion STR Rally tires.

If Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled activity is intended for off-road, and the Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer designed for use in the city. Look at the start of the front. its handlebar using a clip-ons model with the rearview mirror is located at both ends of the handlebars.

Both of these motorcycles use the same engines, which is an air-cooled Desmodromic L-twin engine with a capacity of 803 cc, capable of spewing the power up to 75 horsepower. The difference is the weight of the Desert Sled heavier, ie 207 kg. And the Cafe Racer weighs just 188 kg.

Then prices, where the Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled cost around £9,395 or Rp.152 million (red) and £9,495 or Rp.154 million (white). While the Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer priced at £9,395 or Rp.152 million.

Yamaha and Abarth in collaboration to build a special cafe racer motorbike

In the EICMA 2016 Show in Milan, Yamaha also brought a limited edition motorcycle, named Yamaha XSR 900 Abarth. As the name implies, this motorcycle is the result of collaboration with renowned Italian car manufacturer Fiat Abarth and made in limited numbers as many as 695 units.

As quoted from Carscoops on Thursday, November 10, 2016, the Yamaha XSR 900 Abarth uses a three-cylinder, Crossplane 3 engine with a capacity of 850 cc that produces 115 hp of power.

Then the body is made of carbon fiber materials, and in this motorcycle also pinned on the Akrapovic titanium exhaust, and given the gray color is selected specifically by Abarth. Honda CB500F in touch a Classic Café Racer

PT. Astra Honda Motor (AHM) is also displayed several modified motorcycles in the exhibition of Indonesia Motorcycle Show (IMOS) 2016. At least three motorcycles that have been shown, which is a type of sport CB500F and Vario 150 scooter and Beat. Of the three, the motorcycle with the most striking appearance at the Honda booth is CB500F.

With the concept of Techno café racer, Honda entrust the process to two Jakarta-based workshops, ie Baru Motor Sport (BMS) to modify the motorcycle and Tomi Airbrush to paint the whole body. The café racer style is identical to a typical seat.

However, there is no change in the engine that still rely on a 4 stroke, 8 valve engine with a capacity of 471 cc, which is capable of producing the power up to 35 kW at 8,500 rpm and peak torque of 43 nm at 7,000 rpm. Those power is channeled to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission.

The world's fastest Condor A350 bike by BevelTech

The Condor A350 is a motorcycle built in Switzerland by Condor-Werke AG for the Swiss military forces in 1973 to 1978. The motorcycle use a single-cylinder engine from the Ducati 350 Scrambler.

Ducati's machine is very simple, it has two valve, air-cooled, and the bevel gear driven single overhead camshaft, cylinder head alloy, and has a cast iron liner. The total capacity of engine is 340.2 cc and depending on the configuration that is capable of spewing power of 8 hp to 16.6 hp.

The Condor Racer custom bike shown on the pictures here, originally was a stock Swiss military motorcycle, but now recorded as the world's fastest Condor A350 motorcycle, and some part of its still using the original parts.

The motorcycle was built by a Ducati specialist builder named Tony Hannagan who is also the founder of Australia-based garage BevelTech Engineering. Tony has built many Ducati bikes in decades, he has the engineering background and always pay attention to the details of building a motorcycle.

Tony has long had a motorcycle the Condor A350 at his farm, he and his friend bought one container after retiring from the military. After that time, it used for activities in the farm and long stored in warehouse, Tony decided to revive it.

Started by dismantling the motorcycle as a whole, the original frame and all of the engine is disassembled and repaired. Head replaced to its better flow, the compression ratio is improved, adding a higher flow carburettor and alloy timing gear while the flywheel removed.

Then made a new frame and fitted bespoke chrome-moly unit used on the machine increases the pressure and save the fuel back to the top of the tube. Frame combined with laser-cut engine mounting plate, wheels and brakes taken from the Aprilia RS125 and the fork used a Ducati 998 replica forks.
The motorcycle body was designed with a 3:4 scaled version of NCR Classic design combined with an Aprilia seat. So that the motorcycle weighs about 98 kg is capable of spraying power up to 29 hp.
