A new Honda's 300 cc Café Racer Concept

Honda, in addition to making mass production motorcycles is also preparing a modification concept to an existing model. More recently, Japan's leading motorcycle manufacturer introduced the figure of 'Honda 300 TT Racer.' This café racer motorcycle concept actually has been shown on Honda's booth in the Bangkok Motor Show 2016 held some time ago.

The Honda's R & D division modification motorcycle is then registered its patent by Honda Japan. Filing a patent is to prevent the irresponsible use it to create a similar design. As quoted from Motorcyclenews, the figure of Honda 300 TT Racer built from the base of Honda CB300F, but its form is still a concept and not worthy of taking to the streets.

From Russia with a Custom Café Racer

A Russian biker named Sam Maksimovsky seems so obsessed with the café racer classic style. These changes are visible in the figure of his 'Caff36' bike that is built using a base of 1976 Honda CB500T.

He entrusted the modification work of his CB500T motorcycle to a modification workshop named 36 Customs, where the process took almost eleven months.

First work that is targeting the framework sector in which to make the café racer typical riding position, the workshop should be cut and reposition the frame making it more compact and lightweight. Then, they make a simply short seater, and formed the rear section like a wasp tail that is the hallmark of café racer style.

Ferocious, Honda CB750 Café Racer

Auto Fabrica, a special café racer custom workshop has built a custom motorcycle by taking the base of Honda CB750 SOHC motorcycle. The motorcycle made in the seventies has been recast so it appears with new fierce nuanced faces.

In the aluminum bodied motorcycle, parts of the tank and the rear body customized to get a figure of café racer. Moto Guzzi Griso Vintage Cafe

Guzzi Griso had a special charm, I was convinced, and had not received the expected success is also another truth, but now seeing from Flavio Vergara of Bonfanti Motorcycle this modified key cafe racer I am even more convinced.

A noisy, skinny and charming Café Racer

It feels proud to be able to build an old motorcycle, especially when rewarded with the top prize when following a contest. This is what might be perceived by Larry Houghton and his crew of Lamb Engineering, at the time they managed to reach the championship title on the Custom Chrome International Bike Shows 2011, in Mainz, Germany.

At the time, Larry was carrying a 1951 BSA Goldstar motorcycle that has been modified in such a way and given the name "Son of a Gun". If you see the picture and said, "This is not the BSA Goldstar," then Larry and his crew will understand. Because, its original form almost nothing left anymore.

A simple grey-colored custom 'What Ever' café racer

In Indonesia, Honda GL100 renowned as one of the motorcycles has a heyday in the 1980s to 1990s. Until now the motorcycle population is still pretty much milling the streets in the country. Its shape is very simple, so making it one of the favorite motorcycles to be modified. 

This can be seen on an old motorcycle 1980 Honda GL100 modified by Depok-based custom workshop named Diwa Creative Studio into a café racer styled bike.

According to Wastu, the owner of this old bike, it was a birthday gift from his wife, but he did not like the original form. Then he contacted the custom shop to change the bike according to his wishes, ie a café racer motorcycle. The concept was given in detail, it was not surprised because he also is a designer and owner of What Ever Workshop in Jakarta.

The process begins by reconstructing its frame, some parts trimmed and adjusted to the new body. The body is made of 0.9 mm galvanized plate and for the café racer tail made special and unique so it does not resemble the tail of bees in general.

To add a distinctive impression of a classic café racer, as well as ride comfort, the front suspension using parts taken from GL Max and rear using Yoshimura 34 in order to dampen the shock and well as combined with the SB classic wheels wrapped with Deli Tire 17-400 in front and 18-400 rear.

According to Wahyu the owner of custom shop with an address at Permata Arcadia, Block H 10 cimanggis-Depok, after the retro look is obtained then the selection of paint colors Grey Doff or Gun Metal to add a macho impression on this bike.

2Shot BMW R nineT wrapped in aluminum suits

BMW R nineT be the dream of every builder because this bike is very exclusive for custom-made. From the engine side and the performance, this bike has a value which is very cool. As well as the model, the German motorcycle manufacturer deliberately create a classic motorcycle, to remember the BMW's glory days in the '80s era.

But all the advantages it seemed would be a challenge for the builders, such as Stuart is currently living in Sydney, Australia. This work was born after he underwent a period of healing as a result of his accident.

A unique-flat bodied racer of Krugger Motorcycles

Are you remember with the terrible Fred Krugger in one of the famous horror movies in 1990s? But unlike the Krugger who's coming from Belgium, he was not terrible and very stable in terms of motorcycles, since he was Fred Betrand, a 2-time Belgian national enduro champion, and a successful ex-rally driver as well as the owner of a home modification named Krugger Motorcycles.

Many brilliant ideas of custom built/modified motorcycles were born from them. One of them is visible on the BMW K 1600 NURB, which crowned as the AMD World Championship 2014 title holder.

Now, we will discussed another creations of the Krugger Motorcycles on the Buell motorcycle which then was overhauled and called "Goodwood". One observers said that the motorcycle made by Krugger like blend of stream line body shape of an old Ducati motorcycle which was thick with the Italian taste, then brought V-twin engine style of American motorcycle as well as futuristic style of Japanese motorcycles. So, the motorbike design was very global.!

Interestingly, there's an air funnel was installed near the fuel tank, like a submarine's periscope. That's how the motorcycle's looks when used in the Bub Speed Trials at the Bonneville, Utah in 2011 ago. Regarding the functions, it seems the design does not overly support the aerodynamics as the another vehicles while lauched on the salt lake tracks. However, it complements the interesting forms on this bike. One of them is the composition of the impression of large, flat, and length.

When the Ducati Scrambler transform into Café Racer

Holographic Hammer (HH) is one of the renowned home modifications that have brought his work in an international custom motorcycle festival named 'Wheels & Waves' which took place some time ago in Biarritz, France.

The work of KTM CR8 Café Racer of Mirco Sapio Design

The desire of renowned Austrian motorcycle manufacturer, KTM to make the superbike which is ready lauched at the racing world seems a matter of time that is not longer. Starting from the project to creates a vicious superbike then gives birth the KTM RC8.

But what would happen if the vicious superbike was dress up with the café racer concept?

An Italian fairly renowned automotive designer named Mirco Sapio has managed to turn the motorcycle figure into a very slick 3D design. A radical café racer motorcycle concept that created by him taken the base of RC8 called KTM CR8 (Cafe Racer).

Very radical and futuristic, the design work of Sapio towards the vicious figure of RC8 could be made it very difficult to identified as a café racer motorcycle. But one thing is clear, these wild ideas proved to get a high appreciation of the world's automotive enthusiasts.

With two tones colors of red and white on the tank and frame trellis plus the black accent that consistently covered all of engine area and front section made the CR8 café racer's face looks very 'sadistic'.
Simple but highly detailed, the Sapio's 3D design projects is seen exposing the tubular frame of KTM CR8 concept and made the subframe sector almost disappeared and only replaced by a single seat is very futuristic. Not to mention the front end sector, so made the CR8 café racer's face looked very 'sadistic'. What do you think?
