A cute quadricycle from Bajaj

Bajaj, an Indian motorcycle manufacturer will produce a cute car. Yes cutie Bajaj RE60. Well, a recent report revealed that the Bajaj RE60 has claimed fuel consumption of about 40 km to 1 liter of petrol or CNG.

This cute car rely on a monocoque frame with the car weighs only 400 kg. This car can go thanks to the 4 valve DTS-i engine which has a capacity of 216 cc with liquid cooling system.

The engine is mated with a 5 speed manual transmission. Unfortunately, did not say how much power and torque generated by the Bajaj RE60 engine which is placed in the back. The power is channeled to the pair of rear wheels.

Bajaj claims when driven at low speed, Bajaj RE60 can go as far as 37 km for 1 liter of gasoline. The Government of India has categorize this Bajaj RE60 as a 'quadricycle' because these vehicles can not reach the speed of 90 kph.

Bajaj RE60 is planning to launch in October last year, but several lawsuits about the safety of the vehicle is the bottleneck. Now Bajaj waiting for the Supreme Court permission to sell the quadricycle. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | INDIANAUTOBLOG]
