Peeking the latest McLaren racing car's interior

McLaren's name is synonymous with the world of racing, whether it is Formula 1 and other racing events. No wonder many beginner drivers are using McLaren P1 to practice in their favorite circuit. On average they modify their P1 supercar to be competitive on the circuit. McLaren P1 is the latest McLaren's road-legal supercar that was first introduced at the Paris Motor Show 2012 and only produced in limited numbers as many as 375 units.

Well, according to news that reported on McLaren's website states that they will be launched the racing version of McLaren P1, and the name chosen is the McLaren P1 GTR. As quoted from Inside EVs that mentioned the P1 GTR's engine could pumps out 986 hp and is the pinnacle of performance for a plug-in hybrid supercar.

Currently McLaren only provide information about the P1 GTR's interior. And from the release that we got, mentioned the McLaren dispose of some non-essential components such as door panels and replace some of the material with carbon fiber. The chassis retains the P1 innate where its MonoCage design can protect the driver during an accident without the need for additional rollcage.

The new looks in the P1 GTR interior is the car's seat design which taken of the Mclaren DTM racing car. In addition, the steering wheel was also redesigned, taking the concept of the McLaren MP4-23 race car that drove by teh 2008 F1 World Champion, Lewis Hamilton. But do not be afraid of the heat during the race at a circuit that is hot, as the air conditioning features stays in this race car.

In addition to information about the interior, McLaren also explained that before the owner may be driving a P1 GTR they must first attend the McLaren GTR driver training program at the McLaren Technology Centre, in Surrey, England. In this program, prospective owners will be taught about the P1 GTR's character and driving technique. This program is similar to that used by McLaren to train their drivers in auto racing activities.
