Turkey, the country is known for its specialties such as kebabs, turn out can also make a a compact sports car prototype that uses a middle-class sport engine, but promises superior in terms of power. Dr. Ekber Onuk who is designing the first Turkey sportscar to remembered and honorer his son Kaan, a student of engineering, who died in a car accident in 1996. Sazan is a nickname for Kaan.
As reported by Worldcarfans, on Wednesday, December 30, 2009, that the sportscar was named Onuk Sazan, plans the sportscars are two seater, rear-wheel drive sports car and will be produced only 5 units a year.

So far, the prototype sports cars have been built using the Corvette's LS7 engine that capable of producing power up to 512 hp, with peak torque of 635 Nm. This engine is coupled with a 5 speed manual transmission system.
However, this sports car can also use Nissan's V6 VQ34DE turbocharged engine, that has a capacity of 3.5 liter which is capable of producing power up to 485 hp, which will be combined with the 6 speed XTRAC gearbox.

The street legal version, soon be produced by Dr Onuk in his high speed boat workshop, Yonca Onuk and planned to be sold in the range of €200,000 or approx $300,000 (Rp. 3.12 billion). *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | WORLDCARFANS]
