The Latest Generation of Subaru WRX

Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. (FHI), the Subaru cars manufacturer have done a world premiere for Subaru WRX Concept at the 2013 New York International Auto Show, which held on March 27 through April 7, 2013.

The Subaru WRX generation are notorious for having a very powerful turbo engine that capable to producing performance and terrific torque distribution through the famous Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system.

This combination makes all of driver feel confident in driving and controling the car on all conditions. The new car also indicate the next-generation Subaru WRX design. Aggressive design provides agility and increase the driving excitement sensation.

In front, the massive hexagonal grill provides a strong full forward view, and the lower fascia incorporates sculpted air intakes that are said to help the engine breathe as well as providing downforce. In back, the standard-issue wing has been replaced with a subtly curved trunklid spoiler. Quad tailpipes also hint at the big power we hope will be packed into the car, when it takes production form.

This concept car also has a lower and sleeker design, so more stabil and powerful than previous versions. A huge hole in the front bumper is the WRX classic hood scoop, fender lines and prominent power bulge that indicates the turbo engine performance which is very powerful. Whole of the car body shape ranging from the iconic hexagonal grille, which combined with the firm fender. This blend produces a solid design that embody an awesome driving performance.

The cabin greenhouse memorable compact and draw attention to the strength and solidity of the body. The car has a wide wheel arches, wide wheel arches which is the theme of the main design on the side of this concept car.

A sharp line is etched from the front fender to the rear, and then intersect with the wheel arches that define the capabilities of the famous Subaru AWD. Design of the back using a hexagon design motif of the front grille and trunk lid curvy display which is also useful as a rear spoiler.

The WRX Concept car with wide rear bumper gives the strong impression as a street car and was offset by a large exhaust pipe showing fierce of the turbo engine and powerful. An aggressive rear diffuser increases the aerodynamic vehicle. To further enhance the dynamic side, this concept car featuring carbon roof to lower the center of gravity and get the lighter weight.

By using WR Blue Pearl III as its exterior color that become the characteristic look of the WRX's modern concept. While the fluorescent yellow shades is also used as an accent on WRX logo on front grille, brake, and exhaust tip, all it boils down to strengthen the character of the WRX on the whole design.

Clearly, the WRX Concept is styled anticipation of an all-wheel-drive vehicle, with four blistered wheel arches making that layout obvious. Huge 20-inch BBS wheels (not gold, but we like them) are wearing 245-section Dunlop tires, and look ready to grip and rip. The newest WRX concept car has L x W x H dimensions of 4,520 x 1,890 x 1,390 mm, and 2,760 mm of wheelbase.
