Talking about supercars is a nice thing among automotive enthusiasts. A discussion of the design, specifications, and performance of supercars is a common topic of discussion. And uniquely, all the talk was just spinning on certain brands that dominate the world market, such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Aston Martin, Bugatti, Porsche and others, until we are always presented with repetition discussion. We do not know if the outside of famous brands mentioned above, there are other brands that you had never known before also produce supercars.
Would not it be fun, if we gaining knowledge and refresh our mind by changing the conversation to unusual and unique supercars from other brands that you had never known before. In other words, for example we come to know that Japan and Denmark also made supercar, we also know that there are supercars with more than four wheels, and it turns out there were supercars with unusual and unique design. So we would think, that in this world there are somebody had been created the unusual and unique supercars. And the car in pictured above is 2002 Mosler MT900 S Photon.
With that in mind, I present you with six unusual and unique supercars to ponder. Which of these would you like to own?
6. Mitsuoka Orochi
Japanese automaker Mitsuoka has revealed the production version of it's unique-looking mid-engined Orochi sports car. The Orochi, named for an eight-headed serpent out of Japanese folklore, first appeared as a 2001 concept car, and from the looks of things, the production vehicle stays very true to the concept.
Under Mitsuoka Orochi's hood lies an unspectacular 233-hp six-cylinder with capacity of 3.3-litre and mated to a five-speed automatic transmission, the same engine, in fact, that powers the fifth-generation Toyota Camry.
5. Covini C6W
It was with a large interest in automotive prototyping that Ferruccio Covini founded Covini Engineering in Italy with the aim of constructing static and dynamic automobiles. From Covini's passion for cars and engines came a body of work with a focus on experimentation.
In his design, Covini ventured to create a practical sports car with an extra set of front wheels. The Covini C6W supercar inspired from six wheel Formula-1 racing car, Tyrell P34, which became champion in Swedish Grand Prix on 1976 that decreased drag by having smaller wheels and maintained grip by doubling them.
This six-wheeled Italian supercar looks freakishly weird, Covini explained that the advantage of have four front wheels in a sports car is less risk for front tyre deflating, less risk of aquaplaning, better braking, better grip, better comfort, better absorbing of frontal impact. The car
weighs a little over 2,600 pounds and uses a rear-mounted 4.2-liter V8
capable of bringing the car to a 186-mph (299 kph) top speed. Production of this supercar is set at six to eight cars a year in Verbania.
4. Panoz Abruzzi
American Le Mans Series founder Don Panoz owns the company, which will build only 81 copies of the exclusive supercar. The Abruzzi “Spirit of Le Mans” is another
masterpiece from Panoz Auto Development (PAD), based in Hoschton,
Georgia.
The super sports car will be offered as a strictly limited
edition. Only 81 Abruzzi Spirit of Le Mans vehicles will ever be
produced, corresponding to the number of Le Mans 24-Hour contests
between the inception of the race in 1923 and the race to be held in
2013.
The hand-built Panoz Abruzzi "Spirit of Le Mans" is a unique, front-engine, rear-transaxle and rear-radiator super sports car—road-legal in Europe and many countries of Asia, the Middle East, and South America. The powertrain will deliver 600-plus hp with 590 lb-ft. of torque. Advanced design and aerodynamics offer astounding downforce and road-holding.
3. Mosler MT900S Photon
Exclusive can be an overused word in the automotive industry, but if anyone can claim the description, it's Mosler. The Florida-based supercar manufacturer recently announced that it will be limiting production of its MT900S Photon supercar to a single unit for 2012. Having that sort of exclusivity comes at a cost, though, and the customer that decides to pick up Mosler's 2012 allocation will have to shell out upwards of $479,000.
So what's so special about the Mosler MT900S Photon? For starters, it's one of the lightest supercars on the market, weighing in at just under 2,500 pounds thanks to a composite chassis and carbon fiber body panels. Motivation comes from a 7.0-liter V8 borrowed from Chevrolet tuned to deliver 535 horsepower, allowing the Mosler to reach 60 mph (100 kph) in less than three seconds and a top speed of over 200 mph (321 kph).
2. Zenvo ST1
The Danish-made Zenvo ST1 will appear in the United States with 7 litre V8 engine could burst power of 1,104
hp, uses a novel forced induction set-up featuring both supercharging
and turbocharging to give it a staggering maximum torque figure of 1,430
nm at 4,500 rpm, making it one of the fastest accelerating cars in
existence – 0 to 60 mph (100 kph) in 3 seconds fast.
Only making 15 of
them per year with what we expect will be a pricetag in seven figures
(base price: $1,225,000), commensurate with its electronically-limited 233 mph

1. Wiesmann Roadster MF5
Wiesmann the German luxury sports car maker, describes itself as "the leading manufacturer of puristic sports cars." The Wiesmann Roadster MF5 takes even experienced sports car enthusiasts into a brand new dimension of driving enjoyment, delivering a top speed of 193 mph (310 kph) and completing the sprint from standstill to 60 mph (100 kph) in 3.9 seconds.
This exclusive open-air experience will only be available to a select few because the spirited power package is only being produced in a limited edition of 55. Equipped wîth a V10 engine, 507 hp and 520 Nm torque, it's a car that appeals to all the senses.
