One of the biggest motorcycle shows in the world has kicked off with a bang. The EICMA 2016 has begun with a slew of delicious motorcycle launches and reveals. Here is the Triumph Street Scrambler and as the name suggests, it belongs to the Street Twin family, making use of the same 900 cc parallel-twin engine which does duty on the Triumph Street Twin as well.

As we published in an article some time ago, that this motorcycle ever caught on camera when tested on the streets. (Jump to the article). The Street Scrambler is basically a derivative of the Street Twin and retains its clean, classic lines, minimal bodywork and retro bits such as engine covers, engine badge, fined head and header clamps.

Triumph has done well to style the Street Scrambler with a lovely high-mounted side exhaust done beautifully in brushed stainless steel, along with 19-inch dual purpose Metzeler Tourance tire up front and a 17-inch tire at the rear and uprated brakes.

The mudguard at the front is new to accommodate the larger wheel. The shock absorbers at the rear are longer and handlebars are wider in accordance with true stripped Scrambler styling, making use of a new chassis and suspension parts.

The other Scrambler bits include serrated footpegs, aluminium rear rack, inter-changeable pillion seat, a bash-plate protecting the engine and aluminium bits on the tank and the headlamp mount. There are rubber knee pads for enhanced grip as well. Triumph will also have over 150 accessories which will help customers personalise their Street Scrambler.

The Street Scrambler gets all the electronics in the form of switchable ABS (Specific to this mode), ride-by-wire, switchable traction control and a torque assisted clutch as well. Adding to the classic Scrambler styling is the twin-pod instrumentation console which shows information such as the RPMs, gear indicator, trip settings, DTE, traction and ABS control and so on.
The Triumph Street Scrambler will be available in three colours namely- Jet Black, Matt Khaki Green and Korosi Red with Frozen Silver.

Kept spur your adrenaline on the power of two-wheeled monster and stay alive with the true safety riding. May God will forgive Your sins and so does the cops.... ••• [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | RUSHLANE | AUTO NDTV]
