In addition, the chassis forms showed the revolutionary potential of the manufacturing addictive with the 3D printing technology. So that in the future, the results of 3D printing are strung into one part of the chassis or body can show what a look in the future of vehicle manufacturing in general.

And from information collected, EDAG has now been working with a multi-disciplinary team of designers and specialists from the EDAG Competence Center for Lightweight Construction to take a closer look at the potential of a number of manufacturing processes.

Discussing them with research and industrial experts, the possibility of large scale 3D printing became more viable if technologies such as selective laser sintering (SLS), selective laser melting (SLM), stereolithography (SLA) and fused deposition modeling (FDM) would be used.

So now circulating rumors saying that in the future will be more automotive manufacturers are creating the car by using large-scale 3D printers in the concept car making. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | AUTOEVOLUTION]
