As reported by CBS Boston, Dave Whitlock have even set up a company named AOBiome based in Cambridge in the state of Massachusetts to prove his theory. The company makes sprayer to assist the presence of good bacteria on human skin. He himself is using the 'Mother Dirt' cosmetic spray twice a day for 12 years.![]() |

"It's been 12 years I did not shower. No clinical trials on humans who bathe every day. However, what the facts support that the bath is healthy?" he said further.

As quoted of Daily Mail, Dave Whitlock gets an idea of 'good bacteria' is when his dating partner asks, "why a happy horse rolled over on the ground and dust in the summer?" Whitlock said, 'The only way that horses could evolve this behavior was if they had substantial evolutionary benefits from it.'
