Another 3 iconic cars of Hollywood's screens

A car was so important in a movie because it also depicts the story of the film. In fact, many scenes featuring a car also boosted its image and often became an icon of a movie.

Typically, the Hollywood movie iconic cars have a unique look and typical style, not only that iconic cars usually also be the vehicle used by the main character. Are you curious, what cars are famous for being the iconic Hollywood movies? The following description is as quoted from Screenrant on Sunday, February 15, 2015.

1. 1963 Ford Econoline Custom Van
Of course you are familiar with this Ford Ecoline. The multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) or the van that used by 'The Mystery Machine' detectives in 'Scooby Doo' movie. The van which has a blue, green, and orange color combinations is used by Scooby and his friends for an adventure to a mysterious location where many ghosts reside.

Not only appeared in the animated version, vans manufactured by Ford Motor Corporation is also used in the Scooby-Doo sequel titled 'Scooby-Doo, Where are You?'

2. 1982 Pontiac Trans Am 
For the generation of the '80s or' 90s certainly still remember the KITT is the sophisticated car that can talk on the "Knight Rider" television series starring by David Hasselhoff. This car is so phenomenal at that time because it is told to have the ability to speak.

Well, KITT is the customization result of a 1982 Pontiac Trans Am. The drivetrain that used by this Pontiac Trans Am is a Chevrolet's V8 engine with a capacity of 5.0 liters which are capable of generating power up to 165 hp.

3. 2004 Audi RSQ 
The next car that became an icon of Hollywood movie is Audi RSQ. In 2004, product placement reached a new level with Audi's involvement with the movie 'I, ROBOT'. The RSQ is not just a movie car -- those have been done before, with movie designers creating a car and simply attaching the highest-bidding car logo to the hood.

Audi put the same amount of thought and detail into designing the RSQ as they do into designing any other concept car. It has a fully developed interior and exterior. Audi designers toured the movie sets and got their hands on the futuristic props used in the film.
