Waiting for the BMW M4 Convertible's debut

BMW introduced the M4 Convertible ahead of its public debut at the New York Auto Show 2014. M4 Convertible follows the M4 Coupe is adopting an aggressive exterior design, with a roof that can open. BMW said the M4 Convertible has aluminum hood, aluminum front fender, as well as the chassis. Carbon fiber reinforced plastic is also used on this car.

M4 Convertible weights decreased 40 percent compared to the previous model, M3 Cabrio, so this car has a more dynamic powertrain response. In the interior there is a comfortable sporty seats, leather wrapped steering wheel, M gear, some contrast stitching and a few other additions that set it apart from the regular models.

BMW M4 Convertible also gained some M combined braking system, the Active M Differential and M-electromechanical steering system. The machine used is the same car with M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe, the 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine TwinPower Turbo, which produces power 425 HP (317 kW) and torque of 550 Nm (406 lb-ft).

Acceleration from 0 to 96 kph able to be completed in 4.2 seconds with the seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission and 4.4 seconds with the 6-speed manual. Maximum speed has been electronically limited to 250 kph for both transmission options.
