Rows of McLaren's new supercars

As if there was no letup in making the supercar with the high-performance and superior quality, McLaren ensure the emergence of their new supercar models, following up their enthusiasm for production the supercars so far. Here they are the rows of McLaren's new supercars:

1. McLaren P15

Its name is still tentative and temporarily called P15, which will be priced at U.S. $600,000 (equivalent to Rp. 8 billion). This model will bridge the two models of the previous McLaren supercars, the MP4-12C, worth U.S. $250,000 (approximately Rp. 4 billion) and P1 for U.S. $1.15 million (about Rp. 14 billion).

McLaren Automotive's CEO, Mike Flewitt said that the presence of a new supercar that will expand the line-up of McLaren in the global automotive market and put it in the middle position between McLaren 12C and P1. Nevertheless Flewitt not divulge the official name, but rumors newest supercar that has the name P15.

He also told Autocar that the P15 will use turbo engine that will be installed in the center of the car (midship) with carbon fiber cover that had been used in their supercar.

It is estimated, the supercar's drivetrain will adopts the MP4-12C supercar engine, which is a V8 turbocharged engine, with a capacity of 3,800 cc and capable to spewing 616 PS of power. However, Flewitt also said that there will be a lot of changes to make the supercar uses very sophisticated technology, with the specification of which will be announced ahead of its launch.

2. McLaren P13

At the same time, the British automaker is focusing to brings to the production line the competitor of Porsche 911 Turbo. The supercar with coded P13, and is estimated to be sold for U.S. $198,000 (equivalent to Rp. 2.4 billion). This supercar will be offered in an open roof version and a racing version that is ready to be brought to the circuit.
