Another British Supercar

The British automaker Arash Motor Company has released their new supercar, the Arash AF-10. The car has been under development for over five years in their office-factory facility in Cambridge, United Kingdom, it has been pushed through a 3D modelling programme and finally going to production platform.

The car is used the
5.5 litres Arash V10 engine and could spraying power of 850 hp at 8,500 rpm. The engine crank out up to 530 lb-ft of torque at 8,000 rpm and be mated to a six-speed Graziano GT-ME1 transmission. Armed with those power-plant, the car which is produced by Arash Motor Company was able to run up to 205 mph or 330 kph and accelerates from rest to 100 kph (62 mph) under 4 seconds.

The car ride on custom two-piece aluminum wheels measuring 9.5x19 inches in the front, and 12.5x20 inches in the rear. They would be wrapped in Michelin Pilot tires measuring 265/35ZR19 in front, and 335/30ZR20 in the rear. Behind the wheels here's lie the ventilated ceramic discs and AP Racing brake calipers (eight-piston front, six-piston rear).

The specialty of this car certainly looks charming on the sharp curve on its body and to keep the weight down, the car would have a carbon fiber body with panels meshed with aluminum honeycomb. Similar materials are also used for the alleged "Formula 1" engineer-designed chassis, with a steel made roll cage. Plastic windows are used at the back, while front and side windows are laminated glass. This British-made supercar weighs no more than 1,200 kg (or 2,646 lbs).

"The AF10 has been five years of development and we feel now is the time to introduce to the world," said Arash Motor Company founder, Arash Farboud as quoted by the Telegraph, Tuesday (28/09/2010). Further Farboud says that the Arash AF-10 is expected to bring something new in the world market supercars that it needs a new face and a refreshing addition to the super car brands that already exists.
