What the BMW i8 Supercar would look like in Motorcycle form?

Ever wonder what the BMW i8 would look like as a motorcycle? If so, then look no further than the BMW Concept Roadster. It's powered by a 1,170 cc engine officially rated 125 hp and 92.2 lbs-ft of torque.

This bike concept unveiled at the 2014 Concours d'Eleganza Villa d'Este in Italy, this R1200-based BMW Concept Roadster is what happens when the i8 meets a motorcycle.

You'll find things such as the aggressive downward slant from the wafer-thin milled aluminum seat unit and barely-there LED headlight plate to the violently sculpted open exhaust, along with its eye-catching triangular frame in luminous blue.

According to Gizmag, It's another fantastic step in BMW's brand reinvention from the Belstaff-wearing, pipe-smoking grandad bike factory of the 80s and 90s into a premium performance marque that's right at the cutting edge in the noughteens.

As reported by Cycle World, In back, a single-sided swingarm actuates an Ohlins racing shock via a standard BMW link. The upper mount of the shock bolts to the only visible frame structure, a well triangulated steel-tubing trellis painted metallic blue, as on the HP2 Megamoto. This trellis structure also supports the Roadster Concept's beautifully styled seat, which is fabricated in aluminum.

In front, LED headlights are shaped to look a bit like a number plate. Other details include forged aluminum wheels and massive 340mm front brake rotors with radial-mount Brembo Monobloc racing calipers.
