Lotus C-01 is a futuristic motorcycle weighing less than 180 kg lighter than the average sport bikes. This motorcycle engine using a water cooled V-twin configuration with a capacity of 1,195 cc that can give off power of 200 hp, and is a modified version of the KTM Superbike.

Lotus Motorcycle C-01 was designed by Daniel Simon, who previously joined at Bugatti Automobiles and also famous for creating the “light cycles” for the movie Tron: Legacy. This bike is made by a German home modifications, Kodewa Performance Motorcycle, which received a license from Group Lotus Plc, the British sports cars maker company and engine consultant.

In the C-01 motorcycle making, Kodewa cooperate with other tuners that Holzer Group. According to Kodewa, Lotus C-01 motorcycle inspired by the Lotus 49, while the colors available is a tribute to the ranks of Lotus race cars, among others, with the characteristic glossy black and golden color.
