The newest Suzuki's MotoGP bike

As we all know that starting in 2015 Suzuki, one of the Japanese automotive manufacturers is ready to return to the Moto GP racing competition, after by the end of November 2011 they have been decided to step down from the most prestigious motorcycle racing event is.

As reported by Asphalt & Rubber, in the EICMA Show event which held on November 7-10, 2013 in Milan, Italy. The Japanese manufacturer officially has revealed the latest motorcycle prototype that they will use to participate in the 2015 Moto GP racing event. Suzuki had given name to their newest motorcycle prototype as XRH-1.

Suzuki XRH-1 is itself a prototype of the latest generation of Suzuki motorcycles in Moto GP racing scene as well as a replacement of the legendary GSX-R prototype. Then for the engine itself, Suzuki XRH-1 is using inline 4-cylinder configured engine with a capacity of 1,000 cc, and still using an ECU from Mitsubishi which also has a fuel tank capacity of 21 liters .

In connection with the regulatory change from the Moto GP authority that starting next year the participants are required to use the ECU from Magneti with a fuel tank capacity of 20 liters.

When it tested on Monday, 17 June 2013 in Barcelona Circuit with Randy de Puniet who became the new Suzuki motorcycle test rider. Although still in the development stage, Suzuki XRH-1 showed promising pace.

"I need time to change my driving style. Nevertheless, this bike feels has great potential," said De Puniet about Suzuki XRH-1's performance as reported by Motorcycle News.

De Puniet opinion was not excessive. Time record of one-day trial that did show a bright future for Suzuki. De Puniet posted the eighth fastest time, where he was adrift of 0.772 seconds with the fastest time recorded by Jorge Lorenzo in 1 minute 41.904 seconds.
