Indian space mission to Mars enters an advanced stage. Mangalyaan, thus the name of the spacecraft that start the 300 days journey to the Red Planet after the escape of the earth's orbit on Sunday, December 1, 2013.

Mangalyaan will travel as far as 680 million kilometers. And scheduled, the Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) that will reach the target on September 24, 2014. Yesterday morning, the space shuttle main engines successfully resuscitated over 20 minutes. With sufficient speed, the plane left the lines on the earth.

"The Earth orbiting phase from Mangalyaan mission has ended. Currently a plane to Mars after circling the Sun about 10 months," said MOM in his Twitter account.

Head of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) K. Radhakrishnan explained, to leave the Earth's orbit operation goes well. Since its launch on November 5, 2013, the spacecraft successfully orbits around the Earth.

Through several stages to leave the Earth's orbit without significant constraint by turning on a number of machines.

All maneuvers successfully, except the fourth on November 11 , 2013. When the engine is experiencing a problem with the fuel and result in Mangalyaan fall into a lower orbit. However, ISRO has planned the possibility of subsequent maneuvers that required by 1,350 kilograms (2,976.24 lbs) of weighing aircraft was to move further.

"There are four times maneuver. The first planned to be done on November 11. Could change 1-2 days dependent on the deviation," said V Koteswara Rao, an ISRO researcher, as quoted from NDTV. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | NDTV | THE RAW STORY]
