An amazing custom work

Maybe for some motorcycle enthusiasts the assessment of a high value artwork is not the new bike figure, but the most interesting bike and became the work of art is a motorcycle that just makes people bewildered and amazed.

The art is limitless creative works, everyone is free to interpret the meaning and deepening each individual. Such as the meaning of works of art in the automotive world, which can be interpreted as the work of modification.

Just as has been done by a Belgium customizer, Bernard Mont who makes a motorcycle modification that impressed for most people. By using the Ducati 990 SS as the base material of his modifications project, then Bernard Mont given name for the motorcycle modification results as TT3 Difazio.

Only a few are visible from the original Ducati 990 SS and the most striking is the hub center steering (HCS) system. HCS system is what makes you frown. Mont wanted to honor the memory of British builder Jack DiFazio, the man who made hub center steering popular back in the 1970's and that's how the 990 SS lost its fork. The rear cowl has been redesigned and got a nifty retro-style tail light, while the vintage looks extended to the front fairing, honoring the racing bikes of yore.
Add on the old school half fairing with the bright orange paintwork, and the overall effect is that of timeless engineering and a high tech bike with retro-tech vibe and looks that will never date. (Picture from: http://thebikeshed.cc/)
The bike’s frame has all the obvious mods to give it a stripped-down cafe look, and the engine has been upgraded and littered with the usual adornments beloved by Ducatisti world wide, with open clutch covers and belts, plus Lazer GP headers in Supertrapp endcans. The monoposto seat unit comes from Aermacchi.
An Extreme Tech shock looks after the ride at the rear, while the complicated suspension setup at the front is taken care of by a pair of Ohlins – so, no compromise there, while a V11 Guzzi front wheel steers the bike through the hub. (Picture from: http://thebikeshed.cc/)
Some parts have been redesigned in honor of former racers. TT3 Difazio using Moto Guzzi V11 front wheel and multiple aftermarket components, such as the exhaust line, shocks and seat. The result is a classic super sport bike with a major dose of “prototype blood” in it, looking even more fun with the black racing stripes on it. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | AUTOEVOLUTION | KNEESLIDER]
