5 Ugliest Motorcycles

Motorcycles made based on the tastes of the designer in hopes favored by motorcycle enthusiasts. However, sometimes the ideas developed at the same time actually missed being disliked. In fact, according to the original purpose of each bike is made for the purpose as a tool for easy and efficient transportation.

Further to increase the sale value of each motor, the producers are competing to create an interesting looks as well as combined with the latest technology in each product. However, not all of which is producted by the motorcycle manufacturer is getting positive response in the market.

Sometimes sloppy ideas that they develop even make the motor will not sell in the market, or worse becoming consumers laughingstock. As ever reported by Automotto, here are a few examples of 5 the worst designs motorcycles ever created by the motorcycle manufacturer.

5. Suzuki B-King
This bike applying large tires, exhaust suspension, and coupled with the shrinking head shape. Here's a glimpse of the Suzuki B-King looking, that was introduced as a motorcycle concept in 2001.

Despite its impressive technology, Suzuki B-King look bad from the design. And even worse, the motorcycle production from Japanese manufacturers has a strangely big gas tank in an already misproportionate body.

For a long time Suzuki said that the B-King will never be mass produced. It was supposed to be an advanced one-of-a-kind concept bike, first shown at Tokyo Motor Show in 2001. But In September 2006 Suzuki announced that the B-King will finally surface as a production machine using the Hayabusa 1300cc motor, and without its original supercharger.

4. Morbidelli V8
This 'piece of art' was created in Italy for bike fanatic Giancarlo Morbidelli, an Italian woodwork manufacturer, by the designer Pininfarina, who had been designing cars for Ferrari as well as the Alfa Romeo.

Morbidelli V8 bike is production of 1994 that carries an innovative shaft-drive, five-speed, 32-valve, liquid-cooled, 847 cc, 90° V8 engine, sport touring motorcycle, but its high price meant it would not be economically feasible to produce and the public didn't hide their laughter and with two more reinventions, the bike finally disappeared for good..

3. KTM 690
KTM 690 is superior off-road motorcycles from KTM as attended various races, including the famous Rally Dakar event. But if you talk about the design, this bike will not be able to take part to follow the bike beauty contest.

KTM also presented a super-cool concept bike, the Stunt 690. All of these KTM's with the 690cc engine constitute the LC4 family for the 2008 model year for the company, which is now Europe’s second largest motorcycle manufacturer.It's sad to acknowledge, but most of the people remember KTM for all the wrong reasons. This is one big example of what a big mess design can be to an other wise good bike!

Performance is not comparable with the display, its design is very rigid and does not have sale value. In fact, according to Automotto,  another kind of KTM motorcycles, namely KTM Elektric Bike is considered the best electric motorcycle with dashing look.

2. BMW K1
Definitely thought in your mind, how well-known automotive manufacturers like BMW could make the wrong design. This motorcycle is proves that big name does not mean it is always good to make a breakthrough.

When BMW introduced the radical sport-touring 4-cylinder BMW K1 in 1988, the Bavarian firm was already under attack from BMW traditionalists who felt the company was suffering an identity crisis, turning away from a time-honored line of horizontally opposed, air-cooled touring twins in favor of increasingly, well, un-BMW-like machines.

In fact, this BMW K1 motorcycle looked more like a brick. The designers concentrate more on aerodynamics and was obsessed with it. But they forget that look good initially considered, it could be another assessment of the current consumer market. Although ugly, the bike sold well but thankfully, the chaps at BMW realized the blunder and didn't produce the bike any further.

1. BSA Rocket 3
This is really the worst motorcycle and even more sadly, this bike earned the nickname "The Ugly Ducking" of the BSA family. But take a look at, this is the ugliest among the Triumph motorcycles ever made and you'd change your definitions.

BSA needed a savior in the late 1960s, and the company pinned its hopes on the 1969 BSA Rocket 3 motorcycle. Unfortunately, it was too little, too late.
