New Compact City Car for the Young Rider

This Japanese automotive industry, Honda are famous diligent to display their new concept cars on the market, it is seen as adding a new concept of city car variant for the North American market with the release of Honda Gear at the end of January.

Honda Gear inaugural debut at the event in Montreal Auto Show, which took place January 21 to 25 in Montreal, Canada. With only two doors and looking like a modernized version of the 4th generation Civic hatch, the Gear Concept looks to be a bit smaller than the Honda Fit, the brand’s current sub-compact offering. What isn’t clear is if this is if the Gear is pointing towards a new car below the Fit, or the styling of the next-generation Fit. Its cabin is designed to be able to seat four adults comfortably.

Honda has not revealed the engine capacity of the car, but probably between 1,200 to 1,400 cc which is the engine for vehicles in dense urban, or it’s safe to expect a frugal, low-displacement engine or a plug-in electric drivetrain. Overall, this concept does look promising.
