The center console features fewer physical buttons, thanks in part to the expanded 9.4-inch head unit screen. This screen runs on the Android-based Mini 9 operating system, seamlessly integrated with an AI-powered virtual assistant named Spike, enabling voice commands.

Unlike the previous generation, the new Countryman ditches the MID screen behind the steering wheel, transferring all driving information, such as speed and fuel consumption, to the head unit screen. Additionally, Mini offers an optional head-up display for drivers.
