Seeing the Nissan's future SUV Concept

Nissan again showed their seriousness towards the future car. At the 2018 Detroit Motor Show, Nissan showed off their new SUV concept called Nissan Xmotion (read: cross motion). The 6-seater three-row SUV concept is an example of the future Nissan's direction is aiming for in its new product. Sophisticated and full of design aesthetics, Xmotion has a future cabin full of technology.

The Xmotion's exterior design features dynamic futuristic style. The face is decorated with Nissan's distinctive V-Motion grille but the design is bigger. The main headlamps are designed like a boomerang and have many functions: large lights, small lights, turn signal lights and positioning in a lamp house. The color and sharpness of the lamp will vary according to its function.

While on the car's exterior appears minimalist and is reinforced with a large wheelhouse and stocky fenders. The 21-inch aluminum alloy rim is wrapped in all-terrain tires as an SUV character. While in the stern the design is more minimalist. Slanted rear lights and a combination of functions.

And the interior design is the main spotlight on Xmotion. Combining traditional Japanese art designs and modern nuances. The interior design idea was taken from the view of Japan.

The floor represents the river and the center console that stretches back to the bridge. Wood elements are widely used throughout the interior and combine three-color combinations; red, white and black. Each color has a traditional philosophy from Japan.

Minimalist dashboard with large screen stretches. The center console has a unique feature called floating commander and can detect the movement of passengers through a motion sensor. In addition there are many other unique and sophisticated technologies that can be found on the Nissan Xmotion Concept cabin.

Although still a concept, Xmotion is a new original creation from Nissan. With technology from the Nissan Intelligent Mobility this car can be realized in the future such as Nissan IMx Series.
Nissan manufacturing is one that is quite intense about electrification and welcomes future vehicles. Their electric car, Nissan Leaf, has received a lot of attention in various parts of the world. Another sophisticated electric-powered car concept of Chinese automaker

One Chinese automaker named Guangzhou Automotive Company (GAC Motors) successfully attracted the visitor attention of the 2018 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), where they came up with a two-door SUV concept named GAC Enverge Concept, as a preview before its official launch in 2019.

The GAC Enverge Concept has a futuristic design, as many of today's electric cars carry. Its front end appears without a grille, allowing the GAC to attach a large-sized car's emblem on the front of the vehicle, while a long narrow headlights encases the entire front end.

The front of the GAC Enverge Concept looks like an 'angry snake,' so it looks aggressive enough for an electric-powered crossover. And then the Enverge also has a 'narrowing' back end like the Toyota Prius with the tailllight design that look wraps around the back.

While in the car's interior, the GAC Enverge is equipped with a Formula 1-inspired steering wheel, with several buttons that are within the reach of the driver. Instead of pinning a traditional dashboard, the car is fitted with a large-sized flatscreen that provides important information such as speed, navigation, and so on.

The Enverge Concept also has a panoramic glass that is supported with a system that able to take the information about the objects those around the vehicle and then the information is displayed on the panoramic glass.

Then for the car's performance, these GAC car concept is equipped with a 71 kWh battery that can make the car can be driven as far as 370 miles (about 595 km) in a single battery charge, where for 10 minutes of the battery charging allows the Enverge to travel as far as 240 miles or approximately 387 km. And reportedly, the wireless charging system will also be available for the version production.
The GAC Enverge Concept is claimed to have the power of up to 240 horsepower, and can accelerate from rest to 60 mph in less than 4.5 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 99 mph or about 160 km/h. Just for information, the time taken from 0-60 mph was quite equivalent to that ever tested on Tesla Model 3.

The IMx KURO crossover is a manifestation of the future of Nissan Intelligent Mobility

Nissan Motor Corporation unveiled their latest concept car in the electric crossover segment named Nissan IMx KURO, at the Geneva Motor Show 2018. The IMx KURO is the second IMx concept car exhibited by Nissan after they debuted the first IMx at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show, last October.

In contrast to the previous one, the IMx KURO was decorated with black colored tire rims  and also updated the grille which wrapped in dark gray car's color. These concept car also carries the concept of Nissan Intelligent Mobility, which is the company's vision in facing the futuristic driving technology era that cares more for the environment.

"The IMx KURO zero emission crossover car is a manifestation of the future of Nissan Intelligent Mobility," said Nissan's Chief Performance Officer, Jose Munoz.

One of the latest featuress embeded on the IMx KURO is Brain-to-Vehicle (B2V) technology, which able to interpret the driver's brain signals for driving assistance features through the manual and self-driving system learned from the driver.

And the B2V technology features embedded in the IMx KURO are generally capable of producing two commands, namely predicting and detecting with the help of artificial intelligence (AI).

The predictive feature results from the introduction of AI to the sign of the driver's brain to perform a movement, such as turning the steering wheel or stepping on the acceleration pedal, which translates to help driving technology to react faster in manual driving mode.

While the detection feature emphasizes more on the driver's inconvenience so the embedded AI will change the way driving or driving configuration in self-driving mode.

KIA presents the perfect combination for consumers who need efficient vehicles

South Korean automotive manufacturer, KIA Motors Corporation has been released their brand-new electric car named KIA Niro EV at the 2018 Busan International Motor Show, on Monday, June 6, 2018. With its extended mileage of 380 kilometers or 236 miles, these fully electric-powered vehicle combines the driving pleasure with attractive design and crossover utility with zero-emission powertrain.

Niro EV occupies a unique position in the market as a crossover utility vehicle. Smart packaging, high practicality and distance, make Niro EV offer more than other electric vehicles. Buyers will also benefit from various technologies in EV-exclusive cars, new safety features, prominent exterior and interior designs.

"KIA Niro EV goes on sale in Korea during the second half of this year and will be introduced to other markets in time," Han-woo Park said, President and CEO of KIA Motors Corporation.

He also explained that Niro EV will become the second electric vehicle sold globally by KIA following the popular Soul EV. This shows the progress made by KIA in providing vehicles that are comfortable, practical, and fun to drive as zero-emission vehicles.

Niro EV is designed at KIA design centers in California, United States, and Namyang, South Korea. These EV is to combine the practicality and attractiveness of CUV with a sleek and aerodynamic body. As an electric car, Niro EV shows greater efficiency on the streets.

The KIA designers and technicians also added blue elements to the main lights and redesigned the DRL (daytime running light) form along with the logo on the face. The rest, car owners can also experience the latest technology and safety features that KIA applies to the Niro EV.

Because it carries an environmentally friendly car, the interior of this car in the dashboard area is colored with blue trim. The appearance of the car's dashboard and interior is slightly different from the concept version that was exhibited at CES 2018 in Las Vegas in January 2018.

However, the added value is also evident from its accommodation capabilities. This 2,700 mm wheelbase car promises comfort for drivers and passengers with dimensions of 4,375 mm x 1,805 mm x 1,560 mm (L x W x H). They even dare to mention luggage with a capacity of 451 liters more than plug-in hybrid cars or other electric cars. 

The KIA Niro EV carries a lithium-polymer battery with a capacity of 64 kWh. With a full battery condition this car can travel as far as 380 km. To recharge the battery, and the owner is enough to do the battery charger for 54 minutes to get 80% of battery condition. Besides that, the customers can choose another package with an optional a 39.2 kWh lithium-polymer battery, with a range of up to 240 kilometers (149 miles) for a single charge.

The battery that is located below the car's body and it can produce the power of 201 hp with a torque of 395 Nm. And the acceleration capabilities from 0 to 100 km/h can be reached in 7.8 seconds. In addition, another advantage of placing such batteries is that the NiroEV has a center of gravity like a sedan or hatchback. And made the car becomes more stable and comfortable when driving, even though at a high enough speed.

Furthermore, this car also features KIA Advanced Driver Assistance Systems technology. Which has the aim to support environmentally friendly controls and reduce the risk of accidents. For this reason, the KIA Niro EV has applied an active security system consisting of collision warnings accompanied by help to avoid it, smart cruise control with intelligent stop & go and lane following assists.
Especially for the last feature (lane following assist), is a level 2 autonomous technology that serves to track the position of the vehicle in front and detect road markings so that this car remains on the right track. In addition, this feature also functions as an acceleration controller, braking and steering control via an external sensor so that the car stays within a safe distance. This feature will work in the speed range 0-130 km/hour.

But unfortunately, until now there is no information about the price of mass-produced cars. Here's she a prospective Lexus's premium SUV in the future

Lexus finally showcased their newest Lexus LF-1 Limitless Concept for the first time at the 2018 Detroit Auto Show. This car is claimed to be a form of their vision for luxury SUVs in the future.

CALTY Design Research Studio in California, United States explained that the design of the LF-1 Limitless Concept was inspired by the culture in Japan. The design is likened to the forging of iron made into samurai.

"This is our vision of a flagship car that includes crossover capabilities without putting aside performance and luxury as offered by the sedan," said President of CALTY Design Research Studio, Kevin Hunter, as quoted by Carscoops.

This subsidiary of Toyota is reluctant to disclose plans for the source of these LF-1 Limitless Concept. They assess many choices that can be used for the concept car, including fuel cell technology, plug-in hybrids, conventional engines, or also electric motors.

Infiniti introduced the Q Inspiration concept car

Infiniti, which is one of the luxury car brands from Japan, released the front view of the Q concept car they made. The display of Infiniti Q Inspiration is a sign of the latest design language from Infiniti in the future.

Judging from the appearance, the exclusive impression and the premium side are very visible in this car. Q Inspiration is a sedan made by Infiniti that has a coupe design with a futuristic and modern appearance.

In this car headlamps, Infiniti makes it thin with LED technology. The grille on the front is made large with a design like a shark snout. This grille is made in line with the body color and seems to blend with the bumper. The rear view also looks very sexy with thin LED lights extending along the stern.
Executive Design Director of Infiniti, Karim Habib said that the concept of this car would transform into a four-door coupe sedan. This is caused by a long cabin with balanced proportions and accompanied by a muscular slap. This is the first major project from Habib after joining BMW last year.

Infiniti also ensures to consumers that later the sedan car with the Q Inspiration concept will use pure electric power and will stand alone without using the existing Nissan electric car platform, such as Leaf.
