This is the Diablo You've never heard before

And if you are a supercar enthusiast who grew up in the 1990s, You probably know almost all of the Lamborghini Diablo variants. There are SV, VT, S30 Jota, even GTR. But have you ever heard of this kind of variant called the Lamborghini 132 GT1?

At the end of the 1990s, everybody was getting into high-end racing, partly because thought it was awesome, but partly because it was theoretically possible to go racing at the top level with a legally street-car-based racing car. 

Few famous automotive brands tried it out, even Ferrari (usually mere focused on Formula One alone) attempted with their Ferrari F50 GT. Some of them even managed to have success, like McLaren with their F1 GTR, which claimed overall victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Seeing all this craziness going on, Lamborghini decided to get into it, too – which was unusual, when you consider that Lamborghini didn’t have a lot of racing pedigree at the time. Yes at that time, Lamborghini started an ambitious sports car racing program that would make it compete with the Porsche 911 GT1, McLaren F1 GTR, etc.

Then Lamborghini collaborated with a French company, Signes Advanced Technology (SAT), to design and build a racing car. In the beginning, everything went well, those two companies collaboration even succeeded in building a single road-going example to complement the racing car, and making it managed to get a homologation approval of the FIA to make it all legal.

Unfortunately, this project was suddenly canceled, but already there are 2 units of Diablo racing cars that have been built. It’s unclear as to why the program came to an end, though we can make a few reasonable guesses. The cars were built in early 1998, but by September of that year, Audi bought Lamborghini and the program was brought to a halt.

In the end, the race version of the Lamborghini 132 GT1 ended up competing a little bit in Japan. The road car, such as it is, actually still exists, but what is needed is one look to understand that it is a true classic Lamborghini beast.

Of its appearance, where the car's exterior appears were full of the strong lines typical design of the 1990s wrapped in a strong carbon fiber material as well, which dramatically changed the look of Lamborghini's flagship car in the time.

Then the interior is also very different from the standard version due to it has been equipped with a custom pedal box, open shifters and of course, all the buttons, compact switches, and bucket seats, even the roll cages are present in it. Just like what we can expect from the best race car ever.
The car's powertrain is a 6.0 liter V12 naturally aspirated engine capable of producing power of up to 655 horsepower. An exclusive Enzo-based supercar of Gemballa

When the prancing horse logoed premium car manufacturer launched the Ferrari Enzo ranging from 2002 to 2004 in a limited number of only 400 units worldwide. So you can imagine how rare the supercar was. Made many exotic car enthusiasts are forced to be disappointed because they cannot have it. Have You ever seen those supercars? What are the shortcomings of those supercars?

Yes, this supercar has a cool shape coupled with excellency performance, so for ordinary people like us seem these supercars have no shortcomings. But not for Mustafa and Ilyas Galadari, two businessmen who run several supercar businesses in Dubai when contacting the Gemballa, a German automotive tuner company to built fresh new supercars based on the Ferrari Enzo back in 2009.

That's why the supercar's name is Gemballa MIG-U1 due to the 'MIG' abbreviation was taken from the names of two brothers Dubai businessmen mentioned above who had commissioned the making of this supercar. While 'U1' is an abbreviation to commemorate the founder of those German tuner company, Uwe Gemballa.

It seems, at the time they wanted a very exclusive supercar figure that only a few people could have it. As quoted by Motor1, these supercars have made in limited numbers, only 25 units worldwide. And the company promises that no two of the 25 planned MIG-U1 production models will be exactly the same.

Is it a one-off, or a limited edition? Only time will tell if the Gemballa MIG-U1 will be sold on the open market. But so far that we could be seen and knew about this supercar, there's only one was diligently seen in the world's automotive expos or events, namely the figure of a white-colored MIG-U1 that's usually used a Dubai' number plate.

It is said also that the car is powered by a 6-liter V12 engine capable of producing power up to 700 horsepower. It has also been engineered to perform at extreme speeds with excellent and high performance. With higher aerodynamics, it provides efficiency and flexibility to adapt to changes in external elements when the car reaches various speeds.

The entire body has been completely reworked from front to rear, improving aerodynamics and giving the Enzo a certain race car/spaceship-like appearance. Starting from the front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper, new unique rear wing, to the design of a completely new muffler is not just a new tailpipe. At a glance from the side, this supercar looks similar to the Maserati MC-12. And the rear features a huge wing to increase downforce, and a large roof scoop feeds air to the engine.
And for the interior, Gemballa gives a touch of red and black theme, the seats and trim are covered in quilted red leather and it resembles a luxury car more than a 200+ mph supercar. And on its black bucket seat, there was a red embroidered Uwe Gemballa's signature. But some parts still reflect the feel of sportiness with the steering wheel, dashboard and shift knob made of carbon fiber.

The price is only available upon request, but after taking a look around, we found Ferrari Enzos at a price range of US $1.1-1.8 million. Of course, those weren’t tuned by Gemballa. Kroboth Allwetter Roller has no chance to be grew

When the season changes into wet in the first years after World War II ended, and people want something with a roof. So, people stopped buying motorcycles. And scooters, too. Even though the economy in Western Europe improved rapidly in the 50s, most people were still unable to buy a new car. Especially in Germany which basically rebuilds its infrastructure from scratch. So what is the German need in the wet season in the time? They need a closed scooter.

Luckily there're Willy Messerschmitt started building in a closed scooter with the help of designer Fritz Fend. Shortly thus was born the Messerschmitt Kabinenroller which been sold like a strudel until Willy could not meet the market demand. So, there are holes in the market. But, designing, developing and producing mass cars, even small ones, takes a long time. It needs almost two years in those processes before being sold of microcars in the time. But the market needs somebody to capitalize the most of the wet season as soon as possible. There's one person who tried to take that opportunity was Gustav Kroboth. He was designing a roofed vehicle back in 1953.

He started with a simple, but strong central tube frame chassis and then used as many off the shelf parts to finish it off as possible. Front suspension was two transverse leaf springs, with one longitudinal one for the single rear wheel. Like his scooter, it was mid-engined with a 9 horsepower 175 cc Sachs engine mounted behind the driver and in front of the rear wheel. This was the same engine that was then powering the Messerschmitt which meant it was easy to get serviced and find parts for.

Within 3 weeks, he had finished a bare prototype that was ready for testing. He knew he had to distinguish his covered scooter from the Messerschmitt, so he tried as possible to make it look like a real car even though it has only three wheels, and named it Kroboth Allwetter Roller or All-weather Scooter. It also used a ZF steering box, ATE brakes, and a VW windshield. One thing Gustav was particularly proud of was the column-mounted 4-speed shifter. The column shift was all the rage, so this was like being in a full-sized car but without reverse gear anyway. Even with 9 horsepower, its top speed was 46 mph which apparently felt quick on a lightweight chassis like the roofed Kroboth scooter has.

It made its debut, believe it or not, at a hill climb event in Austria where it won its class. Kroboth was certain he had a winner, but the press mocked the little car calling it the product of the 'tinkering of a refugee operation.' Undeterred, Gustav set about making preparations for production. Workers at Kroboth rigorously tested it, driving it over 20,000 kilometers and then taking it apart to check for wear and tear. The handling that had satisfied Gustav when it was a chassis proved pretty squirrely at higher speeds.
After having trouble getting investors to produce it, Gustav finally got it from Fransen and Sohnen, a Dutch bicycle company to make the Kroboth Allwetter Roller in the country. But bad luck returned back when a shipment of a thousand bicycles to India went unpaid, which made the Dutch company have to choose between canceling their offer or going bankrupt, and once again the little roofed Kroboth was forever orphaned. Japanese hoverbike ready to fly in 2020

The human desire to be able to fly like a bird has been around for a long time. But after the creation of the aircraft in the early 20th centuries at least some parts of these ambitions have been fulfilled.

Along with the development of technology, it turns out humans still feel unsatisfied when they flying within an airplane only. So by using the technology have, they engineer another flying vehicle in addition to airplanes. And one of them is a flying motorcycle or a hoverbike.

Recently, a Tokyo-based drone specialized startup company named A.L.I Technologies Inc. showing off its hoverbike products at the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show (TMS). And the plan is that the hoverbikes will be sold starting 2020.

Of the appearance, the company's hoverbike named Air-Mobility "Xturismo" Limited Edition. Even though at first glance the driver's "position" resembles a motorcycle rider, in fact, it said has a look inspired by a sports car. Although the details have not been published, clearly this hoverbike has become a magnet in one of the world's leading automotive expo events.

The company claims that this hoverbike is capable of floating in the air as high as 2 meters in just three seconds. And the hoverbike is also capable of flying while on speeding at high speed. Unfortunately, as reported by Nippon, this hoverbike has not obtained permission yet from Japan's relevant authorities to be able to use it on the streets in the country.

The flying motorbike on display at the automotive expo event is most likely a mockup that is touted as a future product in the world of transportation. Dimensionally, this hoverbike has a length of 2.8 meters and also has ten propellers mounted on its body. As for the engine, it uses the petrol engine but the details remain unknown yet.

The company says this model will be launched in 2020, outside Japan (prices have not yet been released), but orders have begun. Furthermore, it is also mentioned, that this hoverbike will be built and marketed in limited quantities. Large scale production is expected to begin in 2021 so that it can reach the Japanese market in 2022.

And the video below was another hoverbike concept of the same company.

Getting to know about the adorable cutie Japanese cars

Now in Japan, one of the world's leading automotive expos known as the Tokyo Motor Show 2019 is currently taking place. As is the case with automotive expos anywhere in this world definitely will showcase the latest and best automotive products made by local and foreign manufacturers.

At the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show, visitors will be spoiled by a variety of automotive products from domestic and foreign countries as well. But there is something that tickles the eye and looks so unique that it's hard not to look there, where you can see many cutie cars on display in the booths of famous Japanese car manufacturers, such as Daihatsu, Honda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Suzuki, Toyota.

Maybe some of you will ask, 'What a kind of car is that?' Before answering it, it's good if we first look and aware of the cultural conditions of the people were different in each country, and so do the vehicle preferences of the population. If in America you might see a lot of large cars with abundant engine power running busy on the streets, but in Japan, you will be found a contrasting view, because in the country will be found many small cars both in terms of the size and the machine circulating on the highway.

Well in Japan, these cutie cars are known as the Kei Car. And as far we know, the Kei Car itself is one of the best-selling car types in the land of the Rising Sun. What makes the Kei Car so popular in Japan? The main reason is the matter of taxes and insurance regulations issued by the Jap government based on the size of the vehicle. Yes, Kei Car or K-Car or Keijidosha (Light AutoMobile) is one of the legal small vehicle categories in Japan with engines below 660 cc, designed in response to the local regulations.

So the Kei Car has low taxes and insurance rates when compared to larger sized vehicles. In addition, the presence of Kei Car is a solution for car owners in Japan who are required to have a parking certificate.

Historically, the presence of Kei Car began in the post World War II period when Japan's economic conditions declined so that the purchasing power of Japanese people was below the normal-sized car budget. Perhaps this is one of the few examples of 'the fruit of patience is blessings.'

The development history of the Kei Car can be divided into 3 eras, namely the 300 cc era, from 1958 to the 1970s. Then the era of 550 cc, where the Kei Car engine and technology was developed slightly more modern. Followed by the 660 cc era, which began in the 1990s with the development of engines and implemented more innovative technology on Kei Car. Even now, they also pin the electric motor drive to follow today's automotive trends.

The world's first motorcycle with casting whells

If we now seeing a motorcycle ridden and carried more than two passengers on the highway, of course we assume that's a dangerous action. But it would be different if we see it in the days before World War II, when the price of a car far beyond the reach of most families, and make motorcycles as an alternative.

Well, in the past a motorcycle equipped with a sidecar so that it could felt safer while load more passengers on it and had become a common sight when used on the highway. But at that time there was also something different, namely a unique motorcycle created by a Czech engineer named Albin Liebisch who turned out to have a two-wheeled vehicle design philosophy that was different from most people at the time.

Because instead of making motorbikes with sidecar, but instead he made a motorcycle design that is longer than an 'ordinary' motorcycle. Albin assumed that the unusual motorcycle, which he made for the manufacturer of Böhmerland in 1927 and was given the name Böhmerland Langtouren would be able to carry three passengers equally safely.

With a longer wheelbase than a regular motorcycle, Albin thinks the motorcycle is easier to control when compared to a motorcycle with a sidecar. Even more unique, this motorcycle applies two gearboxes. The first gearbox is similar to other conventional motorbikes and is used by the rider, and the second gearbox is used by the passengers to help the rider change the gears.

Besides that there is also another uniqueness, this motorcycle has two tanks as well, one in front and the other one in the back. And the Böhmerland Langtouren uses a 603 cc single-cylinder engine, which turns out to be the world's first motorcycle to apply the casting wheels on both wheels.
At the beginning of this long motorbike was used as the army transport motorcycle for up to three to four passengers on it. And the chosen casting wheels because it's considered stronger given this motorcycle carried more passengers than the motorbikes in general. Unique isn't. Do you want to ride it?

Fiat Eden Roc. a beautiful, rare, and unusual car ever made

You may not have heard of Fiat Eden Roc. That is natural because this car has only ever been built in two units in the world. This unique car is an Autobianchi Bianchina minicar based model built specifically for Gianni Agnelli, the founder and former CEO of Fiat, who urgently needed a comfortable and fun vehicle for his guests to come to explore the vast property he had in Villefranche-sur-Mer, around Villa La Leopolda, on the French Riviera.

With a beautiful nautical design element, exceptional craftsmanship and Pininfarina’s trademark on it, this truly is a masterpiece. Fiat Eden Roc was created by taking the design of the beauty of the beach and the sea. All things from this classic Fiat are handmade and full of precision and use the highest quality materials at the time.

The stylists and craftsmen at Pininfarina quickly set about creating the unique vehicle atop a stretched and widened Fiat 600 Multipla chassis. Along the way, the engine was increased in displacement to 962 cc for better performance and now makes an estimated 50 bhp.

The extravagant model was presented at the 1956 Paris Motor Show, and then Chairman of Union Oil, William Doheny also wanted to make one more unit for him. Doheny ordered a copy of the charming Eden Roc to use at his Lake Arrowhead compound.

The cutie Daihatsu concept cars with the funny names

Ahead of the opening of the Tokyo Motor Show 2019 exhibition at the end of October, Daihatsu is preparing to launch its latest concept cars. There are a total of four cutie concept cars that will be on display at their booth at the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show.

With the theme "Gathering, warming up everyone's lives," uniquely each of these vehicles has names with the funny names sound like scientific designations of animal species (in Japanese) such as Waku Waku, Wai Wai, Ico Ico, and Tsumu Tsumu.

Let's see them one by one:

1. Daihatsu 'Waku Waku' concept car
The Waku Waku concept vehicle is Daihatsu's way of carrying the type of crossover or SUV with a box-shaped body. This car is also designed to be a sturdy and manly look, supported by off-road bumpers and high enough ground clearance.

Daihatsu said that the concept model of Waku Waku will not be much different from the model that will be produced later. And many people are guessing, that most likely the Waku Waku will become a real rival to the All-new Suzuki Jimny in the market later.

2. Daihatsu 'Wai Wai' concept car
As for the Wai Wai concept car, Daihatsu shows a multi-purpose car or MPV with a unique and family-friendly design. This concept car has six passenger seats divided into three rows. Daihatsu uses a sliding door in the middle to make it easier for the passengers to get in and out of the car.

Then, the use of two sunroof openings that provide more light into the car, making it more suitable for use as a family picnic car. The minimalist dashboard display also makes the Waku Waku display righteously a futuristic designed vehicle.

3. Daihatsu 'Ico Ico' concept car
The Ico Ico concept itself is an autonomous concept car with a small body size that is intended as an autonomous small shuttle car that can drive on narrow streets and is claimed to be suitable as a long-distance public transportation vehicles.

Its box-shaped became the dominant inspiration in the construction of this concept vehicle. Another feature of this concept car is its operational friendliness to wheelchair users. The Japanese automotive manufacturer designed a special plate on the Ico Ico concept car to be pulled down, making it easier for the wheelchair users to get in and out of the car cabin.

4. Daihatsu 'Tsumu Tsumu' concept car
