As reported by Worldcarfans on Thursday, November 6, 2014, the new face of the Beetle seems fairly natural to see who is trying to do makeovers on the VW's car.

This special custom Bettle particular turns out to be the work of Tanner Foust, an American rallycross driver and RAUH-Welt Begriff (RWB), a Porsche's tuner. Cooperation between them were already established long time ago.

Previous two mutual cooperation presents another model of Volkswagen or Porsche.
Explained, the car's got a touch of aura racing is the future form of the Beetle. At least, so the face would not look much different from that presented it. Nevertheless, the two automotive experts did not say when the Beetle-looking like that way.

Speaking of the power source, the Beetle is loaded with a future four-cylinder engine that has a capacity of 2.0 liter. With this engine, the 'frog' may have a power of approximately 210 bhp (157 kW) and 207 lb-ft (280 Nm) of torque. Power is then routed through the six-speed manual or a six-speed DSG transmission system.

With the addition of a body kit, No wonder if the Beetle is present more plump. The width is said to be increased approximately eight inches. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | WORLDCARFANS]

Biposto, thus the name of Fiat 500 new family member which claimed as the fastest city car. Fiat is working with their performance division, Abarth to modify the engine and make the city car look is becoming more fierce to follow the 'Goodwood Festival of Speed' event in England.

As reported by TopGear, on Sunday, June 29, 2014, the 500 Biposto took the base of the 500 Abarth variants are known to have exceptional performance. Then Abarth re dispensing city car's engine by replacing intercooler components with a larger size and reset the ECU, but it has also been put the Akrapovic exhaust components which is known to boost the performance of the vehicle so more fierce.

Thanks to Abarth's engine concoction, making the 500 Biposto now capable of generating a power output of 190 hp from a four-cylinder turbocharged 1.4 liter engine. And as the parent company of Ferrari, Fiat also asked Ferrari to graft the air circulation system that is used on their supercar to 500 Biposto's engine. As a result, the 500 Biposto able to accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in 5.9 seconds.

On the exterior, the Abarth's duty to dissected the 500 Biposto views so more fierce by applying a large bumper following wide airscoop to improve the air intake to the engine. In addition, the 500 wheels is replaced with a wider size and inter-blade design has a pretty big barrier to improving grip to the asphalt.

Abarth also make the weight of 500 Biposto become lighter with disarming some less important parts including rear seat and now the weighs of the car only 997 kilograms. To be more perfect control of the car, Abarth did not forget to change the braking devices of this city car wearing six-piston brake calipers and suspension system which adopts from the Abarth 500 so not swayed when it was speeding.

To adjust the size of the increased wheels width, Abarth adds the body kit package and changes the fenders become more prominent so make the city car is like a mini monster. "We must build a new era for the Abarth, one of which is to combine advanced technology, customization, and build the car is hand made," said Maurizio Consalvo, Abarth's CEO.

Superbug with the wild bull power

It's interesting enough, when I first saw this custom car. I wonder what is in the mind of the Oemmedi Meccanica tuner crews. Just imagine, in a classic Fiat 500's little body that originally only has a 479 cc, 2-cylinder inline engine, and now it was installed with a lump of V12 engine which has a capacity of 6,200 cc that taken from the Lamborghini Murciélago, along with its 6-speed gearbox.

To build this Italian bug, Oemmedi Meccanica dismantle entire body of the Fiat 500 as well as remodel its whole construction. Starting with redesigned the shape of front deck and firewall, in order to accommodate the Lamborghini Murciélago congenital gearbox. No exception on the rear section is forced to overhauled up into the passenger cabin, in order to put the 580 hp Lambo's engine.

Meanwhile, to accommodate the wide wheels design that will be adopted, the four original fender of Fiat 500 that produced from 1957 to 1975 was dismantled and then replaced with a widebody design that has been tailored to the original curves of Fiat 500's all-rounded.

Well...after everything is done and completed in order to get the a more fierce look, then the entire body of Fiat 500 which now has a monster powered engine is then wrapped in black matte color. But unfortunately, the Meccanica Oemmedi not explain the maximum speed of the unique Fiat 500-Murciélago that ever exhibited at the Bologna Motor Show 2012. And this could be the toughest Fiat 500 in the world, following its video:
As the note, the Meccanica Oemmedi also been building a few of Fiat 500 with a Ferrari's 3,000 cc, V8 engine, and also a Porsche Carrera's 3,200 cc, 6-cylinder inline machine. Wow...! *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | OEMMEDI MECCANICA | WORLD CAR FANS]

Old Beetle that think it's a BMW

Indeed if we want to fix the VW Beetle engine is to open the rear hood. But this Beetle was against nature, because the 1973 VW Beetle using the front engine. A BMW engine with M50B25 code which typically mounted on the 1990-1992 production of BMW E34 (525i/525ix) or 1991-1992 E36 (325i/325is) is transplanted by Joakim Karlsson, the car owner.

Because of this, the 4-passengers old car is usually used to run with the 1,300 cc engine (50 hp) is now able to run faster, thanks to the power leap many times. Imagine, the default type of BMW engine which has a capacity of 2,500 cc was able to issue a power 192 hp is still considered to be less, and need to be improved so as to be capable of spewing power of 400 hp.

The power surge supported by special custom GT45 turbocharger that mounted in the exhaust manifolds. To install the engine and its accessories requires extra hard thinking because limited space available. As a result, all the parts got their ideal positions including a thin intercooler.
With a great big space freed up at the rear it was an easy decision to move all of the cooling system back there. The big aluminum radiator is fed by a shroud that channels. (Picture from: http://www.speedhunters.com/)
The frog that used to carry the engine on its backs, now must be readjusted because the engine position changes, plus the increased weight. So the machine is positioned rather low taking into account the outcome of the car's nod and its wobble style.

Motion devices that transmit mechanical power created specifically blend well with 5-speed Getrag transmission is regulated through the best class clutch plate with Sachs 618 pressure plate. Power was supplied to the axle hump taken from the BMW E30 to drive the rear wheels.
