A mild alteration on Harley-Davidson so appears slightly in Scrambler style

The figure of Harley-Davidson Sportster was already mesmerize, but for Mr.K still considered not satisfy him. Although far from his home in the island of Bali, the motorbike then shipped to the Baru Motor Sport (BMS) in Jakarta to be modified.

"If only appear in standard conditions nothing special, too common, so I want there's distinction between my motorbike with other Sportster," said Mr. K who doesn't want the changes on his bike too extreme as well. So what it should be made?

"Contrived in slightly scrambler style," Ariawan Wijaya the owner of BMS chuckled while providing a simple touches without much change. "Still on the concept, and using as many original parts but makes it look different," he added.

The motorcycle modification is fairly simple for the Jakarta-based workshop, "There is nothing complicated on the legs? At front, it used an upside-down suspension of the Kawasaki ZX-6R to look more solid, while the original was use the telescopic type," he explained.
A shorter-shaped handlebars, thus making the riding position slightly ducking. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1gv8oZ)
According to him, mounting an upside-down suspension from Kawasaki is the easiest, "Because of the position of the triangle is already more advanced, so that when the suspension played not stuck on the frame. Just look for the right angle," he detailed. The bike's standard rear swing arm being mated to the Ohlins shock absorbers. While its wheels replaced with the Roland Sand Design (RSD) aftermarket products.
Its short exhaust is located exactly in the position of the right foot, so given the protector of carbon plate. Beware it's hot! (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1gv8oZ)
"Rim sized 18 inches with a width of 3.5 inches," he said. Whereas the rim which is made with a CNC process like this, his workshop has also been able to made it. "But the bike's owner wants to use the RSD products, not only the rims but there are other small trinkets," Ari said while pointing to the fuel tank cap up to throttle grip of RSD products.
At the tail remains in complete, there are a stop lamp that is hiding in the fender and the turn signal lights. (Picture from: http://adf.ly/1gv8oZ)
"While on the chassis, only on the rear section were cut 5 cm so there's not too length," Ari said while giving a candy orange color in some parts of the motorcycle. In order to look more viscous with the scrambler style, then a rough pattern tires deliberately chosen. After that, the exhaust is also moved to the top with a short free flow pipe and please do not ask how its sounds? Immediately closed your ears..
