Making Your heartbeat as a passkey

Fingerprint, face detection, as well as a combination of numbers and letters into the passkey has become a commonplace. But it becomes easy hacked by criminals or people who whim.

A startup company named Bionym develop a magic bracelet that can monitor the users heartbeat. Then used it as a keyword for computer device, web services, even cars, homes, and hotel rooms.

The bracelets, called Nymi can check its authentic identity through wireless heartbeat authentication. The other person who tried to use it can fail due to different heart rhythm is detected.

Not only with the heartbeat, Nymi also monitored the heartbeat with electrocardiogram sensor. This sensor can detect motion and distance that allows some basic motion control as the key.

In their promotional video, Nymi is demonstrated can be open house, a car, a web service, to hotel rooms. The plan, this magic bracelet can be connected to a device that has the Android, iOS, Mac, and Windows operating system. Bionym also open up opportunities for developers to manipulate this bracelet functions to be much more developed.
Although Nymi still in the prototype phase, they've opened the pre-orders. For the initial 25 thousand subscribers, they will be charged at U.S. $ 79, about Rp. 800 thousand via getnymi. The Slimmest phone

Mobile phone trend today is the use of the larger screen, larger than 5 inches. But the war to lure consumers not only about the jumbo screen, but also increasingly slim body.

A vendor from China, Umeox, has planned to introduce the world's slimmest smartphone in the IFA 2013 technology exhibition in Berlin, Germany, which held next month. The phone that was first shown to the public in June 2013, where the phone has a thickness of only 5.6 millimeters, or 0.24 millimeters thinner than the Huawei Ascend P6, thinnest previous record holder.

Umeox named the phone, X5. Compared with a normal pencil, this phone is slightly thinner. Initially, Umeox X5 will be produced with 5.3 inch wide screen. However, recent rumors said that the wide screen shrunk to 4 inches.

Dual-core processor that is installed on the mobile phone is a MediaTek product, which is widely used in China's mobile phones. While the resolution of the camera that is installed on the phone is a 5 megapixel. The operating system used to operate this phone is Android Jelly Bean. But what version and what the selling price is still not formally described.

Umeox ensure their X5 smartphone will be officially launched at the IFA 2013 and supported by the European Thompson Mobile that the Umeox X5 will apparently be sold in Europe as the Thomson X5. The newest iPhone versions will be launched in near future

Apple will hold a special event on September 10, 2013 which became the unveiling of the iPhone 5S. In addition, the cheap version of the iPhone which is often referred to as the iPhone 5C, is also reportedly going to be revealed at the event.

The event is actually believed to be the unveiling of the iPhone 5S. However, as is widely rumored earlier, an iPhone 5S and 5C should be disclosed along with the launch of iOS 7. As quoted by AllThingsD, both had been believed to be revealed on September 6, 2013.

A leading analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo believes that the iPhone 5S will be mounted with the fingerprint scanner technology. The technology will be installed by Apple on the Home button on the device that has been coated with the Sapphire Glass protective. The iPhone 5S will also receive a number of improved features including the camera. Installation of this feature earlier than other manufacturers and be able to slightly increase the Apple market share.

A Japanese quite credible site, Macotakara, has confirmed that the successor to the iPhone 5 will still be called the iPhone 5S, and cheap version of iPhone will be called iPhone 5C as reported so far.

Apple seems to be retaining the naming of the S version of the iPhone, rather than have to give other names. Other news mentioned that the iPhone 5S will also be available in a gold color cast. While the iPhone naming 5C represents 'C' as 'Color' since wrapping five to six bright colors that will caress the body.

After heating the existing rumors, that the Apple's event was held in just one week from two other manufacturers i.e Samsung and Sony which are also going to unveil their flagship devices, the Galaxy Note 3 and Sony i1 Honami on September 4, 2013. When Google began to aim at Gaming Consoles

Google Inc. is currently developing video console game and watches which equipped with Android operating system. The company is expanding its software business that were previously intended for mobile smart phone and tablet.

With the development of the game and a digital clock, Google hopes to tighten up the competition with the U.S. gadget giant, Apple. The company is also preparing the launch of Android for streaming media device named Nexus Q. Last year, the product has been launched, but not sold to the public. Google plans to throw Nexus Q to market next fall.

An independent research institute, IDC announced the Android operating system, which was launched since 2008, currently controls about 75 percent of smart phone sales and 57 percent of tablet computers. The number is listed until the first quarter of 2013.

Games that have been created for Android bases devices proved to have a high interest in the entire world. Even with the Android base game development touted beat first game that has been popular, such as Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo. With the advent of such games, Google will make Android device specifically for the game.

Sony and Microsoft have made a new version of the PlayStation and Xbox, which will be marketed by the end of 2013. PWC research mentions, along with Nintendo, total sales of console games by the end of last year reached U.S. $ 24.9 billion.

Many people speculated that Google innovation aims to rival Apple TV product appearance. Google rumored to have contacted Ouya Inc., a start-up that sells consoles and game controller based on Android OS. Ouya sell products worth U.S. $ 99 or Rp. 982 thousand.

Through Android unit and Google X hardware lab, Google is planning to build a separate division of Motorola hardware. A mobile phone manufacturers who have acquired since last year is now being focused towards the launch of Android-based smart phones that are named Moto X.

As Google also will create a low price smart phone. This project aims to open up opportunities for the middle-low economic classes to get a sense of technological development. Furthermore, Google is also planning funding program to create a wireless network.

Google's move is to innovate with a variety of devices considered to be very aggressive. Previously, the Android-based software has been developed for various types of equipment, such as laptops, even the refrigerator.

Even the computer manufacturer Hewlett Packard (HP) have teamed up to run the laptop with the Android operating system. The product is expected to be the main competitor tablets already made by HP, which uses the Windows 8 operating system.

Since the beginning the Android services are offered free of charge for the smart phone and tablet users, for example, users of the Samsung. The South Korean company is Google's major partner in increasing revenue through provided services, such as Google Search and YouTube.

At last year autumn, Google's revenue gain of U.S. $ 8 billion from the sale of smart phones. Dari waktu ke waktu perangkat mobile semakin canggih serta berkembang dengan pesat, hal ini sejalan dengan kebutuhan pengguna yang semakin beraneka ragam. Lihat saja dimensi yang dimiliki oleh Aspire P3: 190.77 (W) x 295.4 (D) x 9.95/10.15 (H) mm dengan berat 1.39 kg saat difungsikan dalam bentuk Ultrabook dan 0.79 kg dalam bentuk tablet. Dari bentuknya yang baik dan proporsional sebagai Ultrabook maupun tablet, ditambah dengan bobotnya yang ringan sehingga mudah untuk dibawa-bawa. Finishing dari perangkat ringan dan ramping ini berwarna silver dengan bahan dasar alumunium yang terasa solid ketika digenggam. Dan Aspire P3 juga memiliki case yang telah dilengkapi dengan keyboard Bluetooth dengan docking untuk perangkat ini.

Perangkat ini dilengkapi dengan produk prosesor terbaru dari Intel, yaitu Y series. Produk ini merupakan prosesor berdaya rendah generasi terbaru buatan Intel. Water-powered Mobile phone Charger

With MyFC PowerTrekk, your mobile phone power source no longer electric power, but the tap water, streams, even puddles. The tools that use micro fuel cell technology developed by KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm that only requires water to recharge the phone battery up to 3 watts.

Anders Lundblad, a KTH researcher who makes MyFC, said that the charger was able to obtain power from both freshwater and seawater. "Our findings have great potential," says Lundblad. "Many areas that lack or do not have electricity, but increasingly important mobile phone functions, such as accessing weather information or make electronic payments."

An USB connector that connects PowerTrekk with mobile phones. When water is poured into the small metal discs of sodium silicide in the charger, then it will be removed hydrogen gas and combined with oxygen to convert chemical energy into electricity. This energy is enough to supply 25-100 percent of your iPhone battery capacity. In addition to the fuel cell, it has a battery charger lithium-ion power source that can be directly or as a backup.

Lundblad has done research on micro fuel cells and small flat Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) fuel cells for more than 15 years at the Department of Applied Electrochemistry at KTH. He says the business vision behind MyFC is to commercialise fuel cell technology and contribute to the development of environmental technology.

"The launch of this charger is a strategic effort that fuel cells that the fuel cell can be accepted by the public," he said. "Right now our charger may still be considered expensive. Giant tablet with 3D technology

Imagine you're playing Angry Birds on the screen three-dimensional (3D). Of course it's more fun because you seemed to actually hold the grumpy bird. Now, the imagination can be realized as long as you are willing to spend money U.S. $ 1,500 (approximately Rp. 14.4 million).

The tablet is made by Infinite Z, a company based in California, United States to launch a tablet that has a display screen of 23.6 inches was named Z Space. The screen is capable of displaying images in 3D format.

The Z Space screen are able to track the movement of the user eyes and hands, and mixes it into a 3D display. The resulting image quality is very sharp. The thrill of playing on the Z Space screen will not be found on the 3D TV screen.

To feel the sensation of it, a pair of special glasses included in the sale to maximize the user experience in viewing 3D images. These glasses have an infrared beam which is then tracked continuously by sensors on the tablet screen.

The camera sensor on the screen then adjusts a perspective view in order to produce proper 3D images. Infinite Z called it as Virtual Holographic 3D, which also allows the user to change the image so impressed floating a few inches in front of the eyes.

Besides glasses, there is a digital pen (stylus) with sensors that allow the movement of the stylus tracked as a 3D display. Miraculously, the user can use a stylus to take a piece of the virtual image of the screen and move it.

CNET has tried the tablet by displaying picture of a motorcycle engine. The machine was seen floating about 12 inches in front of the eyes. Remarkably, some parts of the machine it can be removed and reassembled.With this outstanding capability, Z Space can be very useful for professionals engaged in the design, architecture, and animation. And, of course, for the hardcore fans of digital gaming.

Choosing a smartphone Tips

Previously when we heard about smartphone, we imagined an advanced mobile phones with an expensive price. But not anymore! Because currently smartphones increasingly affordable with selection of brands and types are becoming more varied.

Starting from series of well-established brands such as Apple iPhone, BlackBerry, Sony, Samsung, to China and local brands, which generally have dared to offer smart phones with pretty good specs with a fairly friendly price. That is why, according to IDC, smartphone shipments over the past year to Indonesia nearly 8 million units, an increase of 25% from 2011. With this move, we can be confused with the increasing number of choices on the market.
Here are the tips for choosing a smartphone:

Recognize the Operating System
The main difference the smartphone with ordinary cellphone lies on the Operating system, the type of software that perform the mobile phone function. In Indonesia, the most popular operating systems today is the BlackBerry, Android, and iOS after that, there's Symbian and Windows Phone.

BlackBerry is widely known with a powerful operating system in instant messaging (read: BlackBerry Messenger/BBM) and is widely used Indonesian people lately. Its ecosystem is strong that more people frequently asked BB PIN number rather than a mobile number. However, a centralized server system in Canada, making it is often too late when using the BBM, so the satisfaction to be somewhat reduced.

Android is an operating system created by Google, the world's internet giant. Since last year continues to rise and in Indonesia an Android phone sold at an affordable price with the present application chatting, gaming, and the wider internet. This is supported by the Google Play services that exist in the smartphone, which allows the owner to download the application at any time and sometimes it's free. This concept is also offered by Apple over its iPhone, but it sold at a high price (the most expensive among the existing smartphone).

If you have a limited budget, but want a powerful smartphone on the internet surfing, then Android, BlackBerry, and Symbian eligible. Conversely if you want an exclusive feature with a high budget, choose Apple, Windows Phone, and BlackBerry.

Do not confuse about the price!
The offering is very intense at this time, which making smartphone can be sold at cheap price. However, do not be fooled! With reference to the processor and components in it, simply define the smartphone price. In Indonesia, the lowest range of a smart phone starts from Rp. 800,000 to Rp. 1.5 million.

If you want more affordable but safe, you can choose the smartphone sold by the mobile network operator. Sometimes the price is related to warranty service (after-sales service). The new brand usually offer its smartphone at low prices, but there is not reparation center in your region. However, the established brands typically, they comes complete with after-sales service point on your region.

Observe the processor, battery, and memory
Processor on a smartphone like a brain. The higher processor ( such as dualcore, quadcore), for better performance. For an affordable price, choose the smartphone already use processors from the well-established manufacturers like Qualcomm and Mediatek. You can see this data on the back of smartphone box.

For memory, the same size as the processor, the higher the capacity the better. While on battery, select smartphone is already using 1200 mAh-1500 mAh of capacity. At the lower of this capacity, the battery could quickly drop.

Select Design-Feature as needed
Everyone has different tastes. Some are happy to see the video then you should choose widescreen smartphone with robust features in the video. Long lasting Battery Technology

The development of mobile phone and tablet technology is extraordinary in the last three years. Both of them seem able to do all things. Unfortunately, the ability of both limited by battery power source alias as "life" for the digital devices.

Sadly, the development of battery technology is not as fast as the technology of digital devices themselves. As a result, many people who have to carry a charger or power bank so as not to run out of power when using the digital equipment.

More recently, a group of researchers from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign managed to create a prototype lithium-ion battery that allows to power on a tablet or smart phone that is recharges 1,000 times faster and is 2,000 times more powerful than other lithium-ion batteries on the market.

Combining both power and longevity in a light battery is something engineers have been trying to solve for decades. You can either have a very powerful battery that discharges a lot of power for a few seconds or a battery that provides a low source of power for an extended period of time. The lithium-ion battery that is commonplace in cell phones, laptops, and electric cars  is the best balance scientists have developed thus far that balances these two concerns.

"A battery can deliver far more power than anybody ever thought. In recent decades, electronics have gotten small. The thinking parts of computers have gotten small. And the battery has lagged far behind. This is a microtechnology that could change all of that. Now the power source is as high-performance as the rest of it," said Lead researcher, William P. King.

According to King, today is the micro-technology era that can transform all into reality. "Now the energy source that has high performance as other components.
