The Ringbrothers conjured the Pantera to be cool in a modern style

Modern CREATIONS Normally a classic vehicle in its original condition always had became a special attraction for automotive enthusiasts, but if a classic vehicle is then modified in such a way that it appears in modern styles, indeed made it become more interesting.

Let's take a look at the ADRNLN, a modification result car worked by the Ringbrothers on the  De Tomaso Pantera of 1971. As we could be seen beneath the unique, if divisive, exterior, is a Seventies muscle icon packing some serious punches to transform it into a modern styled supercar. How not, Jim and Mike Ring of The Ringbrothers have dedicated more than 5,000 hours in building the car, in collaboration with Nike who designed the interior.

It's clear that The Ringbrothers rebuilt every panel on the 'ADRNLN', by refining and updating all the Pantera's rare classic elements. As a result, the car has a lower and wider stance than the standard Pantera, which is further enhanced with larger wheel arches as well, including the headlights have been integrated and modernized with assertive lines.

Subtle design curves like small wheel flares and custom rocker panels with brake cooling ducts adorn the Pantera's steel monocoque body, which has been finished off in BASF's Glasurit 90-Line paint system, delivering the signature Ringbrothers look. Finally, the engine bay received some added accenting courtesy of products from Hose Candy.

Meanwhile, the original Pantera's 351 hp engine has also been replaced with The GM's 600 hp LS3 eight-cylinder engine coupled with Holley's electronic fuel injection system. The power of engine is channeled through a five-speed ZF transmission, while the double-stainless steel exhaust is done by the Flowmaster. For the legs by the modifier then pinned the HRE 'S101' three-piece forged wheels wrapped with the Nitto Invo's tires with stopping power produced by the Baer six-piston calipers at each corner.

The interior designed by the innovation skunk works at Nike, in which they give a touch of two-tone colors by using high-quality genuine leather for a cockpit design that is more focused on driving pleasure. The Nike's design team so added a waffle design to the pedals and other transmission parts, and created a pair of suitable foothold for the 'ADRNLN'.
As qouted of the Barrett-Jackson sites, the De Tomaso Pantera 'ADRNLN' is debuted at the 2013 SEMA event and sold at the 2015 Scottsdale auction event at a pretty fantastic price of $300,000. Unfortunately, the ADRNLN could not surpassed the company's most expensive car had ever been auctioned off, ie the Ford Mustang 'Dragon', which sold for $346,000 (approx Rp. 4.4 billions).😉 *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | THE RINGBROTHERS | CLASSICDRIVER | DESIGNBOOM | BARRETT-JACKSON | GTSPIRIT ]

Let's see the futuristic designed Pininfarina Teorema Concept car

The development of the automotive world today is sliding very rapidly and even now being enlivened by the electrification trend. So it is not surprising that there are many concept designs for electric-powered cars been born. This also invites the interest of one of the well-known Italian coachbulders Pininfarina to get back to being creative and give birth to its best vehicle concepts after the company launched its electric supercar Pininfarina Batista some time ago.

And recently, the well-known Italian automotive design house developed a virtually concept electric-powered vehicle named the Pininfarina Teorema. As qouted of the Pininfarina official sites, this concept car is company's latest study design of the futuristic electric-powered car and with the Teorema, the Italian design house wants to interpret an electric-powered car as the urban's fancy mutual vehicle which has the cabin as comfortable as the living room. Of course, the experience of the living room on the wheels such this can be enjoyed on the go by using the vehicle has an advance autonomous technology.

Pininfarina realized this sophisticated bullet-shaped autonomous car concept design in colaboration with several partners such as Poltrona Frau for the seats and Continental Engineering Services for the car's cabin technology. As for propulsion and platform basis, Pininfarina uses a rolling chassis platform made by Benteler.

"The Teorema wants to give back the living comfort while on the car, while driving and on the go, without the frustration of traffic jams or other compromises," said Kevin Rice, Pininfarina's Chief Creative Officer.
Pininfarina Teorema Concept has no side-doors as an ordinary car, instead the back of the car would opened up and forms a passage for the cabin's in-out access. (Picture from: VNExplorer)
Besides that, Pininfarina also said that the design of the concept car which comes dominantly under the color of copper brown is made and designed by using Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality technology and is intended to maximize aerodynamic efficiency which allows the car to run faster, by using a little of power.

Let's take a look the Pininfarina's concept car. Starting from the exterior, the Teorema has a design that is much different from a traditional car design existed today. As you can be seen, the concept is appeared with the one-line pulling design from front to back combined with fins on the sides. Uniquely, the Teorema does not have side-doors like an ordinary car. Instead, the back of the car would opened up and forms a passage for the cabin's in-out access, and the passengers would be guided by the lights on the floor of this concept car to their seats.

Next about the cabin, the Teorema concept car has a 2+2+1 seating layout in standard-mode and can turn into a space to interact as its occupants wishes such on the lounge-mode, the front seats can rotate 360 degrees, and the two middle seats can laid down and put together with the rear seats to be used as the benches for your chit-chat. Not only that, thanks to the adoption of VR technology, the Teorema cabin is able to provide a unique expansive experience with a full glass roof.
Because it is currently still presented as a concept car design, so not much technical data is disclosed and even not known whether there are plans from Pininfarina to produce the car in the real world. In our opinion, the Teorema concept car is more suitable for use as a means of limited public transportation in urban areas. A beautiful Europa by Bizzarrini

Elegant ONES Of course you still remember the discussion about exotic cars built by an Italian automotive manufacturer based in Livorno named Bizzarrini SpA. some time ago. And the peak of this company's glory occurred in the 1960s when the company owned by Giotto Bizzarrini successfully launched a sports car production called the Bizzarrini 5300 GT Strada.
This is Bizzarrini 1900 GT Europa aka a 'baby' version of 5300 GT is built in between 1966 to 1969 and powered by a 1,897 cc Opel engine. (Picture from: RMW)
The exotic car, which was originally powered by Lamborghini's V12 engine, but was later replaced with a 327 CID V8 engine from the Corvette, in which its performance managed to amaze the public at that time.

As quoted of the Riga Master Workshop pages, soon the company also succeeded in making a smaller version of the 5300 GT under commissioned by GM-Opel. As is known, this car was built on the Opel 1900 platform which was originally projected as the Opel GT, or later known as the mini Corvette of German.
The Bizzarrini 1900 GT Europa aka a 'baby' version of 5300 GT is built on the Opel 1900 platform which was originally projected as the Opel GT. (Picture from: Pinterest)
Actually, the Bizzarrini's design proposal was more aggressive and good looking as the 5300 GT in a baby vesion. But then the Opel GT production version is designed by factory stylists and looked less aggressive but still beautiful. Because his design proposal was not used, Bizzarrini decided to realize the mentioned car's design by himself.

This small grand tourer built by Bizzarrini SpA. in between 1966 to 1969 officially named the Bizzarrini 1900 GT Europa, and was mostly built in coupe and only one in barchetta styles. In general, the Europa features a fiberglass body, penned by Bizzarrini designer named Pietro Vanni, and is equipped with independent front and rear suspensions, limited slip differential and disc brakes on all four wheels. During its production period, it is not known how many the 1900 GT Europa models were made, because the Italian manufacturer has no record of that.
The Bizzarrini 1900 GT Europa aka a 'baby' version of 5300 GT has a simple dashboard arrangement. (Picture from: RMW)
According to some sources about 17 units were managed to bulid by the Italian company (while others say only 12 units). Even some of the cars, some sources say about 20 units were assembled outside of that period (in the late 1960s and early 1970s) by using Europa spare parts and unused chassis from the Bizzarrini's plant after it went bankrupt. And obviously all of those cars were not assembled by Bizzarrini itself.
The Bizzarrini 1900 GT Europa aka a 'baby' version of 5300 GT is powered by the Opel 1,899 cc engine mounted behind the front axle and is claimed to be capable of producing around 110 hp of power. (Picture from: RMW)
And about the drivetrain, when it went into production, this Italian company installed a 1,481 cc inline-4 Fiat engine, but then when it was officially announced as the Europa, the car was introduced using a 1,897 cc Opel engine. And of the 17 units, there're 12 of them use engines from Opel while the remaining 5 are powered by four-cylinder 1300 and 1600 engines sourced from GM, Alfa Romeo and Fiat. There is even a very advanced racing version with the SPICA fuel injection system.

On the most of Europa models, the Opel 1,899 cc engine is mounted behind the front axle and is claimed to be capable of producing around 110 hp of power, and allowing the car to reach a claimed top speed of 206 kph.
The Bizzarrini 1900 GT Europa aka a 'baby' version of 5300 GT is claimed capable to run fast up to the top speed of 206 kph. (Picture from: RMW)
The Bizzarrini 1900 GT Europa became the star of the company's booth when it was shown for the first time at the Salone dell'Automobile 1966 event in Turin and one of the most notable prototypes in the whole exhibition, holding its own in the popularity contest with more well-known cars like the Ferrari Dino 206, Maserati Ghibli, and De Tomaso Mangusta.
Unfortunately, the "baby" GT by Giotto Bizzarrini aka Europa was originally meant to be a smaller, lower-cost alternative to the more expensive Strada model that would bring the Bizzarrini into volume production and compete with other sports cars from Alfa Romeo and Lancia. However, due to the bankruptcy of Bizzarrini in 1969, and made the Europa's production had to stop after only a handful of cars were made. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | DIOMANTE | WIKIPEDIA | SUPERCARS.NET | RMW.LV | PETROLICIOUS ]

A unique Ferrari 348 TB 'Elaborazione' by Zagato

Unique ONES Again, we discuss the unique cars have been appeared and presented in the world's automotive in the 1990s era by one of the famous Italian coachbuilders, Zagato based on a prancing horse logoed sports car.
The Ferrari 348 TB Zagato Elaboraziones is a heavily modified sports car based on Ferrari 348 TB done by Zagato back in 1990.  (Picture from: MotorTrend)
Well, in between 1991 and 1992 when a number of daring Ferrari owners to let Zagato extensively explore modifications of their Ferrari 348 TB (Trasversale Berlinetta) to be something more catchy and fresher that later known as the Ferrari 348 TB Zagato Elaboraziones.
Tha Ferrari 348 TB Zagato Elaboraziones has a new bumper design with round headlights and the Prancing Horse logo in the middle. (Picture from: MotorTrend)
For a moment we look at the donor car, namely the Ferrari 348 TB which was first launched by Ferrari in 1989 and at first glance the car similar in shape to its predecessor the Ferrari Testarossa. This car also has great running capability due to it has an engine capable to spit a maximum power of 300 horsepower and can be accelerated from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.6 seconds.
The Ferrari 348 TB Zagato Elaboraziones had almost completely revamped the whole car by using handcrafted and seduced aluminum panels based on the Pininfarina's original form. (Picture from: MotorTrend)
This modified car still uses the same engine and gears as those used by the standard 348 TB. If then this modified car looks to be faster than the standard one, this is possible and makes sense, due to each owner freely can upgrade the car elsewhere as their wishes and also remembering that Zagato is not in the tuning business.
The Ferrari 348 TB Zagato Elaboraziones has a completely reworked interior by suede covered upholsteries. (Picture from: Forza-Rossa)
Then if you take a look at the exterior, it's clear that Zagato had almost completely revamped the whole car by using handcrafted and seduced aluminum panels based on the Pininfarina's original form. Meanwhile at the car's front, the original center grille and headlights of the 348 TB were removed, instead, a new bumper was installed with round headlights and the Prancing Horse logo in the middle. Each side is flanked by an enlarged NACA channel for the engine, and it sits atop a matching side skirt.
The Ferrari 348 TB Zagato Elaboraziones is powered by a 3.4 liter Tipo F119 V8 engine capable to spit a maximum power of 300 horsepower. (Picture from: MotorTrend)
Then on the back, Zagato made a new engine cover that is equipped with clear glass to show the chunk of the V8 engine mounted underneath. The such layout was only applied in 2000 by the Maranello based premium car manufacturer on the Ferrari 360 Modena Spider. Further the rear's changes are seen in the installation of three new lights and the addition of an electronically operated spoiler.
The Ferrari 348 TB Zagato Elaboraziones is applied the typical Zagato's Double Bubble roof that could be maintained enough headroom although it has the lower roofline. (Picture from: MotorTrend)
Perhaps the only modification made by Zagato and will never be on any other Ferrari model is the Double Bubble roof which has been the typical touch of the Italian coachbuilder since the 1960s. The idea is that the Zagato applied lower the roofline of the car, but still able to be maintained enough headroom for the car's occupants underneath. That's some kind of an elegantly simple idea which had never applied on by other coachbuilders.
Other modifications attached on the Elaborazione including the custom OZ Racing alloy wheels, external fuel filler caps including a three-inches rearscreen and a completely reworked interior by suede covered upholsteries (none of 10 cars have same interior). Initially, the Italian coachbuilder Zagato announced would be made the Elaborazione as much of 22 units, but in the end only 10 cars had ever made. Today, might be each have aged but still looks cool to this day. And of course its price had been skyrocketed if You wanted to have one now. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | SUPERCARSNET | EXCLUSIVECARREGESTRY | MOTORTREND | FORZA-ROSSA ]

Here's about the Pantera that You've never known before

Unique ONES One of the classic sports cars made in the 1970s that is recognized by many automotive enthusiasts that still looks cool today is the De Tomaso Pantera. Indeed, many people may not know about this Italian sports car, which turns out to be included in the luxury car category which is very rare in the world. Some said that the Pantera looks is more cool than the Lamborghini Countach in its hey day. What do You think?
1971 De Tomaso Pantera is an Italian mid-engined sportscar featured a gorgeous body designed by Tom Tjaarda at Ghia and built on a monocoque chassis engineered by Gian Paolo Dallara. (Picture from: ClassicCars)
This car was produced in a long period of time ranging of 1971 to 1993 by De Tomaso Automobili (previously De Tomaso Modena SpA.) Indeed, these years were known as the heyday of the American muscle car, the Ford Mustang, so many people thought this car was the Ford Mustang. And this Italian made car taking the name of Pantera (an Italian word means Panther) which is debuted in 1971.

The De Tomaso mid-engine exotic sportscar featured a gorgeous body designed by Tom Tjaarda at Ghia built on a monocoque chassis engineered by Gian Paolo Dallara and was originally projected to be a race car. In its heyday in 1973, the car ever had won the Tour of Italy racing championship with Mario Casoni behind the wheel. Then followed by Clay Regazzoni who also won the Hockenheim's racing event by driving the same car.
1973 De Tomaso Pantera Lusso or L-cars by Ghia. (Picture from: SportsCarsDigest)
The sports car's speed and power came from its mid-mounted engine. Yes, by using a 5.8-liter V8 Ford engine capable of spraying a maximum power of up to 326 bhp at 5,400 rpm, so that it can make the car paced up to a maximum speed of 256 kph bolted to a five-speed ZF transaxle. Well, with such a big burst of power, of course, the fuel consumption was wasteful when juxtaposed with the modern cars have maximized the fuel efficiency.
1975 De Tomaso Pantera GTS. (Picture from: LotusEspritTurbo)
Although at first many people thought it was a Ford Mustang, it turns out that this De Tomaso's sportscar still has something to do with the largest automotive manufacturer in America. De Tomaso Pantera is developed in a collaboration with Ford Motor Company, in which the V8 engine used is one of the Ford-made engines is in certain also used by the Ford Mustang.
1980 De Tomaso Pantera GT5. (Picture from: Supercars.net)
De Tomaso Pantera itself at the time of its appearance was priced at around $10,000, Pantera was closer to an Italian exotic than an American sports car. It looks cheap when compared to the value of money today, but that was the price in the 1970s which at that time was enough money to buy a car. The Pantera sold reasonably well, with around 3,000 out of 7,200 cars sold by the end of 1972, but fell victim to the 1973 oil crisis, which effectively ended muscle cars performance for the next two decades.
1980 De Tomaso Pantera GT5-S. (Picture from: RoadAndTrack)
During its long production period ranging from 1971 to 1993, this De Tomaso Pantera sports car was produced in two models, ie the racing purposed and street-legal models. Its street-legal models consisted many variants ranging of the early De Tomaso Pantera with split bumpers and push-button door handles from the De Tomaso Mangusta parts bin gave way in 1972 to the De Tomaso Pantera Lusso or L-cars fitted with federal bumpers that added weight of 100 lbs.
1991 De Tomaso Pantera 90 Si is the last of Pantera and only made 41 units. (Picture from: SportsCarMarket)
After the partnership with the Ford Motor Company ended in 1974 (some say 1975), De Tomaso then produced the De Tomaso Pantera GTS whose production was projected to be for the European market, where the GTS variant predominantly battled against Lamborghini.

As quoted of Sportscardigest, into the 1980s and 1990s, De Tomaso did a radical refresher to the Pantera design by launching the De Tomaso Pantera GT5 in 1980 and the De Tomaso Pantera GT5-S in 1984, but it was nothing compared to the complete overhaul by Marcello Gandini in 1990 transformed into the De Tomaso Pantera 90 Si.
1971 De Tomaso Pantera modified into a more stylish and modern looks sports car by The Ringbrothers and Nike back in the 2013 dubbed as the ADRNLN. (Picture from: OtoBlitz)
At that time Marcello Gandini completely redesigned the last De Tomaso Pantera under a revised chassis and equipped with a smaller 4.9 liter Ford 302 V8 engine. The Pantera 90Si marked the end of the Pantera variants is produced until 1993 of which only 41 cars were made and then gave a way to the De Tomaso Guarà.
Ares Design's Project Panther or Panther ProgettoUno supercar made based on the Lamborghini Huracan to reflect the legendary De Tomaso Pantera supercar of the 1970s into a modern looks and was presented during the 2019 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este. (Picture from: MasSat)
Currently the price tag of De Tomaso Pantera is estimated at over $100 thousand because it is a rare item and became as one of the most sought after cars by collectors. Moreover, if the sportscar is in very smooth and original condition, the selling price may exceed the estimate. In general, it can be said that the De Tomaso Pantera is one of the sports cars that proved to be very popular and sold more than 10,000 units in its era.
For Your Info, it turns out that the De Tomaso Pantera still continues to inspire the creative desires and ideas of many the world's automotive activists to regenerate its legendary looks and styles into a modern sports car, we can see in several examples such as those made by Ares Design and The Ringbrothers. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | DETOMASO-AUTOMOBILI | HAGERTY | CLASSICCARS ]

You might not be seen the Cadillac NART Zagato before

Unique ONES Previously, Luigi Chinetti's name was closely associated with the Ferrari's cars, because he was an exclusive importer and distributor of pracing horse-logoed cars for North America in the 1960s to 1970s, but he had one desire that had not been fulfilled, namely to build his own car.
The NART Zagato is a sports car designed by Luigi Chinetti Jr. and built in 1970 under independent brand of NART in the collaboration with GM and Zagato. (Picture from: MotorTrend)
As qouted of MotorTrend, after years of success as an exclusive Ferrari dealer in the US and as the founder and the owner of the famous racing team NART (North American Racing Team), finally Chinetti decided to engineer his own car designed by his son in 1968.
After completion the one-off prototype of the NART Zagao was shown at the Turin Motor Show 1971. (Picture from: MotorTrend)
For this reason, he then collaborated with General Motors (GM), one of the US automotive giants and the Italian coachbuilder company Zagato. In short, then this joint venture succeeded in designing a sports car which later known as the NART Zagato, where some parts of the joint venture car is took of several the GM's cars and then Zagato realized it into the real world according to its plan.
1970 NART Zagato is basically a heavily modified Cadillac is built on a chassis that was started its life as a Cadillac Eldorado which has been rearranged to move the 472 cu-in V-8 and FWD transaxle to the rear. (Picture from: MotorTrend)
If you look closely at the appearance, the car is basically a heavily modified Cadillac is built on a chassis that was started its life as a Cadillac Eldorado which has been rearranged to move the 472 cu-in V-8 and FWD transaxle to the rear. And the NART Zagato is advertised as having gotten an upgrade so that its engine can shoot up to 400 hp, from previously according to the GM factory specifications the power was only up to 375 hp.

Some other features took from several other GM's cars can be seen in its taillights borrowed from the Pontiac GTO and the dashboard, steering column and four-wheel disc brakes from Cadillac. Despite its size, the car's weight remains low thanks to the extensive use of aluminum in its construction.
After completion the one-off prototype of the NART Zagao was shown at the Turin Motor Show 1971. (Picture from: MotorTrend)
After completion the one-off prototype was shown at the Turin Motor Show 1971. At the time, although Chinetti began taking orders and already had two revised designs on the drawing board, the US auto giant GM unexpectedly withdrew from the partnership, due to several delays in the project as well as the declining economy since 1969.
Since being left by GM, the car project has practically fallen into a mess and the end the car never entered the production line, while the only completed prototype stayed in the Chinetti family's possession until 1987, then it was sold to a collector in Illinois, who had it fully restored. After that, its whereabouts became a mystery for decades, and reappeared in 2008 on an eBay page that was hailing from Brussels, Belgium under a price tag of $25,000. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | MOTORTREND ]
