The most extreme Pagani Huayra variant to date

Some time ago Pagani Automobili reportedly was developing a new Huayra variant, but at that time it was believed to be called Huayra Dragon. However, at the end of last week those Italian premium car manufacturer quietly launched one of the most extreme Huayra variants and was named Pagani Huayra 'Imola' during a private ceremony.

These one-of-five limited-edition hypercars deliberately built to pays tribute to the Italy's famous racing circuit. And the car was ordered by Oleg Egorov, the founder and owner of TopCar Design tuning firm and a passionate supercar collector who previously also had a special Zonda nicknamed 'Unica'.

The exterior of this new Huayra is truly something worth seeing. Its exterior appearance is clearly not afraid to be the center of attention, Egorov asked Pagani to wrap the hypercar with bright red-orange accented carbon fiber. This color accented can be found on the front splitter, around the headlights, along side skirts, on the edge of the side air intake, under the hood scoop, and across to the rear diffuser.

Then its carbon sideskirts are also very different from other Huayra, including BC and BC Roadster. And the design inspiration seems to have been taken from several Zonda 760 series with a large scoop hood, high rear wing, and fins. The seven-spoke wheels are different, too. Many of the alterations are highlighted by bright red-orange accents that outline the edgy designs including inside its cabin.

Unfortunately, given the vehicle’s somewhat secretive nature, if there's no official technical details of the car. Even if the AMG-sourced V12 engine is untouched compared to the Huayra Roadster BC, the new Huayra derivative should pump out about 800 horsepower (596 kilowatts) and 774 lbs-feet (1,050 Newton-meters) of torque. Still, we believe some modifications to its engine could give it a bit more power.
What we can find out is that this hypercar will be limited to five units only. And the first unit of this hypercar belongs to Oleg Egorov and the remaining 4 cars are not known who ordered it and whether it will be made similar as the first one or different. And also we don’t know the price Pagani is asking for each one of them. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | CARSCOOPS | AUTOBLOG | MOTOR1]

All-new Malay supercar waiting to launch in the next 2020

Apparently the euphoria of making supercars does not only occur in the established automotive technology countries such as in Europe, America, East Asia or South Asia, but also extends to Southeast Asia. As we have seen since a few years ago countries in Southeast Asia also began to build their respective supercars.

History has recorded that in 2013 Indonesia been pioneered the creation of an electric powered sportscar in the region through the Selo sportscar model. Then followed the Philippines made its first super car, named the FAA Aurelio in 2014.

Next there's Singapore which started building Vanda Dendrobium, an electric powered supercar in 2016. But all the supercar or sportscar models mentioned above may only have reached the concept stage only and then never been heard again their existences till now.

Now it's Malaysia's turn, which is also rumored to be preparing its first supercar. Yes, through an automotive company headquartered in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur named Bufori Motor Car Company (BMCC). The car whose entire production process is carried out domestically, has the name Bufori CS, and is ready to launch early 2020 (actually the car has been designed since ten years ago).

From its exterior form, at first glance this Malay supercar has a look that is somewhat unique and unlike most supercars. The Bufori CS design is designed as a two-door coupe with curved body that at first glance make it look like a classic coupe.
Right side view of Bufori CS prototype car. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2jVPGwZ)
Dimensionally, Bufori CS has a length of 4,555 mm, width of 1,950 mm, and wheelbase of 2,620 mm. With a front grille that is made larger and resembles a beehive. Then the body curves and details on the back of it similar to Toyota Supra or BMW Z4. And the entire body structure of the car is supported strongly on a lightweight monocoque chassis made of Kevlar carbon composite.

In its cabin, Bufori CS uses the Sabelt CF racing seat, and is equipped with a 7-inch infotainment screen. The details of this cabin look very similar to the Fiat Chrysler, this is seen in the gear shift lever is very similar to the Jeep and the center console and the AC is similar to the Chrysler 300.

Holds status as a supercar, making its mechanical composition was not kidding, even Malaysians call it a monster car. It's reasonable, because for the highest version, the Bufori CS8 uses a Chrysler V8 6.4L Hemi Supercharged engine, which is capable of spewing power up to 750 horsepower and peak torque of 1,000 Newton meters.

Whereas on the standard variant uses a 2.6L naturally aspirated V6 engine that offers power of 320 horsepower. And reportedly later after being produced, it is possible that Bufori CS will be installed the turbocharge devices so the amount of power spewing able to increase up to 500 hp.

Then those engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission system, thus making the supercar reportedly able to accelerate from zero to 100 kph in just 3.5 seconds, while the maximum speed reaches 320 kilometers per hour.

To strengthen its premium car impression, Bufori CS applies a 19-inch multi-spoke rim combined with the Brembo's braking system in contrasting colors.

To maintain control and safety when driving, Bufori also embed electronic braking force features, electronic balance system, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping support, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, rear vehicle alert, reverse camera, and 2 airbags.
The plans, the Malay supercar start on sale in 2020. However, there is no official information from the company regarding the selling price to be offered. However, Bufori CS will most likely not be more expensive than the Japanese or European made supercar of the same-class. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | BUFORI | PAULTAN]

The world's first supercapacitor vehicle

Now, we're continuing our discussion of the previous article. Lamborghini finally revealed its first hybrid supercar candidate to be shown off at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show next September 12-22.

That Italian supercar manufacturer officially calls it the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37, which is predicted to be the company future car to greets the electrification era. Although carrying a hybrid powertrain, but Lamborghini's DNA inside Sián does not fade away.
Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 has been shown to several customers through the Unica app before it was officially released at the 2019 Frankfurt International Motor Show. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2m2N2q1)
The name 'Sián' itself is taken in Italian with the Bolognese dialect means 'lightning.' And lightning can be interpreted as Lamborgini's rapid movements in creating sports cars in the electrification era like today. The Sián also described how's the look of Lamborghini cars in the future.

And the Sián code name 'FKP 37' was taken in honor of Ferdinand K Piech who was born in 1937. He has played an important role in the acquisition of the Italian supercar brand into the VW group in 1998.

In terms of design, Lamborghini Sián is clearly seen taking most of the design of the Lamborghini Terzo Millennio Concept. Although not entirely similar to that concept, but Sián comes with more aggressive line indentations so that the ideal form of a supercar can be seen of it.
Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 was officially released at the 2019 Frankfurt International Motor Show. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2lMFkQC)
"The fastest Lamborghini must be a visual and symphonic feast, as remarkable to those who see it pass by as those privileged to drive it," Mitja Borkert, Head of Design at Lamborghini, explains. "It takes inspiration from the Countach, but the Sián is a futuristic icon, not retrospective."
Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 represents the first step in Lamborghini’s route to electrification and expedites the company's next-generation V12 engine. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2lAqahk)
Sián will carry a new V12 engine and 48 Volt electric motor so that it can produce such big enough power. The V12 engine developed by the raging bull logoed auto manufacturer on the Sián was able to blast 785 hp of power as well as touted as the largest in the history of those Italian premium car manufacturers.
Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 relies on a 6.5-liter V12 naturally aspirated engine plus a 48-volt the mild-hybrid system, which adds 34 horsepower for a grand total of 819 hp. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2lAqahk)
Lamborghini Sián also gets an additional 34 horsepower from an electric motor. So that in total the car has a power equivalent to 819 horsepower. The supercar is claimed to be able to drive up to a maximum speed of more than 350 kph. The combination of a V12 engine and an electric motor makes the Sián accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in less than 2.8 seconds.

Uniquely Sián does not use batteries like other hybrid cars, but instead the Lamborghini Sián electric system uses a supercapacitor which is claimed to provide a greater energy supply than ordinary batteries.
Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 can scorch to 100 kph in 2.8 seconds and has a top speed 'over 350kph'. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2m2N2q1)
Yes, the supercapacitor is not like a battery, because it can be charged immediately in a faster time and also the energy harvesting can be done during the vehicle braking process. Supercapacitor also does not run out of capacity as easily as the batteries generally. So it can be used in millions of times of power recharging.
Reportedly, the supercar is produced in limited quantities, with only 63 units world wide, and sold with prices ranging from the US. $2.5 million (approx £2 million/€2.2 million) or around Rp.35.6 billion.

But, there's bad news for You who would be interested to have this supercar… Now, all of them have already been sold out. No to forget go to Frankfurt if You wanna see the Sián in its real shaped. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | LAMBORGHINI | MOTOR1]

Ahead of its debut, the latest Lamborghini figure is leaked little by little

According to Lamborghini, the Aventador figure is its mainstay model that carries the company characteristics and is very identical to the figure of a mid-engine V12 hypercar. Today the hypercar has reached a mature ages, but the successor wouldn't launch yet in the near future.
Is this the figure of 'LB48H' coded hypercar which not have the name yet? Rumours said, it to be given a name Lamborghini Sián. (Picture from: http://bit.ly/2krGHUD)
This is contrary to what is widely circulated in cyberspace, that currently the raging bull logoed premium car company is preparing a new hypercar. After some time ago, the company showing a teaser image through its official Tweeter account. And on last August, the company also giving a new teaser video through its official Instagram account.
Furthermore, the new hypercar figure is increasingly revealed little by little, after it leaked at Lamborghini Unica, a smartphone application specifically dedicated to the Lamborghini owners. According to rumors, this car will be named Lamborghini Sián. If this name is correct, sounds a little less fierce right? But because Lamborghini usually takes the bull name, maybe Sián is the name of one of the special bulls. Who knows?
For you, the purist Lamborghini fans, even if the Sián is not a bull's name, you should no need to feel disappointed. Because indeed Lamborghini does not always use the bull name for its products. For example, you might be remember to the Lamborghini Miura, Countach, Diablo and Murcielago.

However, what is familiar with the figure of Lamborghini Sián is its design style, which seems so clearly inspired by the Lamborghini Terzo Millenio concept car. Then the details of Lamborghini Sián include the door design which also flows the air into the side air vents which are somewhat square in shape.
The ventilation is sharp, looks like the one in Centenario. Similarly, the air fins behind the upright and sharp. Then the Aventador and Huracan taillights which have the shape of the letter "Y" are replaced with new hexagon-shaped lights, which are commonly found in a modern Lamborghini.

As reported from The Drive that the Lamborghini Sián engine still uses a 6,500 cc V12 engine based of the Aventador, that means at least 770 PS of power and 720 Nm of torque has been obtained. It seems that no turbocharged devices will be installed on it, but this car is said to be using a hybrid system that can provide extra power of 30 PS from the electric motors. Looking at the number 30 PS is very small for a Lamborghini indeed. But if that's true, then the power combination can reach 800 PS.
Does not stop here, its sensation then continues. These LB48H coded hypercar which not have the name yet reportedly built in limited number, ie 63 units only, and sold with prices ranging from US. $2.5 million (approx £2 million/€2.2 million) or around Rp.35.6 billion. But, there's a bad news for You who would interested to have this hypercar… Now, all of them have already been sold out.
Now, by the many teaser images, video coming out and all-about from the Italian marque, reports of the hybrid hypercar aren't far-fetched at this point, but who knows? And now, let's wait until its launching time is come in Frankfurt starting on September 12, 2019. *** [EKA | FROM VARIOUS SOURCES | MOTOR1 | THE DRIVE]
