A Unique, Classic, and Futuristic figure of Yamaha concept motorcycle

Did you know the Yamaha Y125 Moegi? For loyal fans of Yamaha definitely knows. It was a motorcycle concept that exhibited for the first time at the Tokyo Motor Show 2011, and ever been exhibited at the Jakarta Motorcycle Show 2012 as well.

Yamaha Y125 Moegi, is an old school concept of Yamaha motorcycles. Moegi specially designed for display at the Tokyo Motor Show 2011 and at that time, it successfully attracted the visitors because of its design is quite interesting that a combination of scooter or machine added bike. Not without reason, take a look at the model that is similar to a bicycle. Moreover, the large rim diameter but with a minimal width, similar to an old styled bicycle.

Actually, Moegi inspired by a 125 cc engined Yamaha YA-1, or the first Yamaha motorcycle that was successful in the market and was made in 1955. In other words, Yamaha Y125 Moegi is the modern version of Yamaha YA-1. This bike reflects the vehicle that has a maximum engine efficiency and light for everyday purposes.

Although impressed by the classical, but Moegi already using the fuel injection technology plus DiAsil cylinders, as well as 4-speed transmission system. This machine is claimed capable of generating the power up to 10 horsepower and has a weighs only 79 kg.

Although it has a fuel tank capacity of up to 3 liters, but in fact it is more than enough to Moegi. Because of its fuel consumption is also very economical which is 80 km per 1 liter of gasoline.
Many thought if Moegi will be sold as a collector's item, but in fact the Yamaha did not intend to sell its unique, classic and futuristic motorcycle. Yamaha Y125 Moegi remains a motorcycle concept in a collection of brilliant works of Yamaha designers.
