As reported by Carscoops, the initial idea to create the Rasa is derived from the idea of the former head of design of the Fiat 500, Chris Reitz who seek to create emission-free vehicles but still powerful. The research and development process done by Riversimple Movement Ltd, a British car manufacturer takes up to 15 years at a cost of US. $14 million.

The secret that makes the Riversimple Rasa is the most environmentally friendly because of this two-passenger car utilize 8.5 kW low-power cell. This is much different from hydrogen cars in general, using cell above 85 kW. Rasa has an acceleration 0-100 km/h is 10 seconds.

It is said, the Rasa prototype has a weight of only 580 kilograms including 1.5 kilograms of full-filled hydrogen tank. And Rasa can travel a distance of up to 480 kilometers. The car is estimated to have staying power in the streets reached 15 years.
