This Ferrari likely to be the most expensive classic car ever

At the Artcurial Motorcars Salon Retromobile auction to be held in early February 2016 in Spain, there is a special car that is a chance to make history. Well, on the auction will feature a special 1957 Ferrari 335 S Spider Scaglietti.

This car is expected to be sold at a price of $30 million - $34 million. Wow, You can buy this car or 30 of the LaFerrari cars! Differs only slightly from the most expensive car in the auction history, the 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO which were sold at a price of $38 million in 2012.

The Ferrari 335S Spider Scaglietti was originally equiped with a 3.8-liter V12 engine and compete in the Sebring 12 Hours. And then, the engine is eventually replaced. The car transformed with a bigger engine is a 4.1-liter V12 engine has a capable of spraying the power up to 400 hp.

After upgraded its engine, this car competed in the Le Mans 24 Hours with Mike Hawthorn and Luigi Musso as the drivers. This car was forced to stop in the race, but earlier set a record as the first car at Le Mans that can drive with an average speed of 120 mph for one lap.

This car has a long racing history includes some famous racers ever drive this car. One of them was Sir Stirling Moss ever race with this car (unfortunately did not win).
