BMW introduced the concept of laser lighted motorbike

BMW Motorrad introduced the concept motorcycle named 'BMW K 1600 GTL Concept' at the Consumer Electronics Show 2016, held in Las Vegas, Nevada. This bike is basically identical to the production version that was first introduced in 2010.

The difference is, this motorcycle concept equipped with the laser lights are very bright and high beam its range up to 600 meters (two times higher than the standard version).

According to them, as reported by BMWBlog, these lights can significantly improve safety at night because it provides much better visibility. Nevertheless, it seems that the technology can not be mass produced. The reason, the cost of production is still too expensive. But BMW also predict the price will soon fall in line with a growing production.

In addition to showing off this concept motorbke and BMW i8 Spyder Concept, BMW has also launched a helmet concept that capable of displaying digital information on the glass. The information in question includes vehicle speed and gear position. This makes motorists no longer need to turn your eyes from the road.
The helmet is also equipped with two cameras, front and rear. The front camera can be used to record the trip, while the rear camera has the potential to be used as a digital rearview mirror that is being developed.
