The car transformed only with a single touch

A Mercedes-Benz car alone is cool. What happens when a Mercedes-Benz combines two cars in one. The result would be more cool. This is shown in a new concept car called the 'Mercedes-Benz Concept IAA (Intelligent Aerodynamic Automobile)'.

This unique concept car shown by Mercedes-Benz at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2015. Uniquely, armed with the design lines of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, with just a finger touch the body of the car can lengthen itself up to 390 mm.

"The car is attractive and sophisticated form the core of Mercedes-Benz," said Prof. Dr. Thomas Weber, a member of the board of directors who is responsible for product development and Head of Mercedes-Benz Cars Development.

According to him, the unique capabilities of the Mercedes-Benz Concept IAA will probably not be done without systematic network. The designers have developed the latest methods for complex designs. And Mercedes-Benz Concept IAA is the result of lengthy research engineers at Mercedes-Benz that the results can be used in the future.

Mercedes-Benz Concept IAA does not only show the body transformation ability but also the advanced aerodynamics without compromising the aesthetic side of a Mercedes-Benz. For the nterior, it present an elegant luxury. This car steering wheel is unique because it combines various touch-based functionality. In the end, the steering wheel can offer high functionality within compact dimensions.

With the OFN (Optical Finger Navigation) button, the driver can scroll through menus in the instrument cluster. "And it shows some details of what our customers can expect the production model in the future," said Ola Kallenius, a member of the Board of Management of Daimler AG, Mercedes-Benz Cars Marketing & Sales.
The concept car has a long dimension of 5,040 mm (5,430 mm while on the aerodynamic mode), width of 1,995 mm and height of 1,305 mm. It using a hybrid system with a total output of 279 hp.
