Toyota officially launched a boxy kei car in Japan

Recently the Japanese auto giant, Toyota officially introduced the latest kei car called 'Pixis Mega' in Japan. Toyota Pixis Mega equipped with a front fascia that is almost vertical, with a slender grille that is flanked by stylized light sweptback.

Moving further back, look aerodynamic notched fender, electric sliding doors and sporty spoiler on the rear hood. Not only that, Pixis Mega also has aerodynamic fins at the mirror and rear lights, which promises increased stability when driving at high speed.
In the interior section, Pixis Mega equipped with four standard seat waterproofing upholstery, six-speaker audio system and multiple storage compartments and roomy cabin space. In addition, customers can also order the optional navigation system.

For performance, Pixis Mega equipped with two naturally-aspirated three-cylinder 660 cc engine options, namely which boosts power 52 PS (38 kW) at a torque of 60 Nm (44 lbs-ft), while the turbocharged version capable of developing power up to 64 PS (47 kW) at torque 92 Nm (67 lbs-ft).

Both engines send power to the front wheels via a continuously variable transmission (CVT), but the turbocharged mill can be paired with all-wheel drive at an extra cost.
